Tip envelopes are very standard in our industry, there is nothing stated that it is mandatory. Yes, we have a basket of cloths that guests may use as they like to clean their vehicles, atv's, motorcycles, floors, etc., just not our costly bath and hand towels. We offer solutions to keep replacement costs down for us and in return, we may pass on the savings. We have been thanked many times by our guests and have been told what we were doing was a great idea. I have stayed in hotels with similar signs with much higher replacement costs.Thank you for staying with us.

We are disappointed that you posted this before speaking with us about your concern. This is the most likely the first time the heater was turned on for the season. The odor is similar to most household furnaces - when it is not in use for several months, it takes a minute for the odor to dissipate. We did do a maintenance check on the heater and there are no issues. Thank you

Your review sounds a bit like retaliation to us. This is so far from the truth - just look at our excellent reviews. We had nothing but trouble getting your credit cards to work so we let you stay without paying the entire bill and said we would figure it out in the morning. You both ditched the next morning without paying your balance and said (Becky) you were leaving because you (Tim) couldn't smoke weed on our property (no concern about the accommodation). We also made a notation after you ditched us stating that you are not allowed to stay with us again due to being defrauded by you. We were nice enough to let go the last night you didn't pay us for.Thank you for your input!

I agree about carpeting. No matter how much we clean carpets, they don't stay clean long. We will be going to hard flooring eventually.Thank you!
