Absolutely fabulous!
Absolutely fabulous - would love to return again. (Was there last 47 years ago !) Cheryl is delightful and a lovely host. All the food was yummy. K/S bedroom was extremely comfortable.

Such a great location, with easy access to east, west and north routes form here. We stayed only one night but were well looked after. Lovely room at the front with a great view over the river. Dinner in the pub offered some nice choices and we enjoyed the food. Breakfast next day was a real treat.

Excellent recent 4 night stay , friendly relaxed atmosphere, big homely room , good hearty breakfast, helpful staff , dealt with Cheryl mainly & Katie, thank you Cheryl for tips on NC500, local sightseeing , etc. Would recommend as base for this part of Scotland. We will return.

A lovely stay with very friendly staff
Loved it, very friendly welcome, comfy room (top floor), great view and lively bar that night with terrific folk music. Breakfast a little disappointing

Thanks for your review Charles..so sorry you found breakfast a little disappointing but you only wanted bacon and eggs! Next time you are here you must try our full breakfast and amazing black pudding. Glad you enjoyed it here and hope you come and visit us again!

Loved the relaxed atmosphere. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent. Chose this hotel as a base to explore areas of the nc500 that we didn't have time to see when doing the route and we couldn't have picked a better place. Would highly recommend and we can't wait to go back! Huge thanks to Sheryl, Angus and the staff at the Invershin for being great hosts. X

Brilliant little place
I was there working but I could see why the place attracts so many walkers, fishermen and bike riders, the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. Great stay, thanks to all the staff.
