The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. If you are looking to visit other areas you will need a car.»

We have been traveling in Scotland for many years. 2022 and 2023 was the first time we stayed for three months with NO car! So many places to visit where you can be fine walking from train station to accomodation to golf to market to restaurants. This cottage in Tain was perfect for us.»

«Difficult to find once on the road but a quick call to the owners sorted that. My only criticism is the cottage is dark, but if there was good lighting in the lounge that would help. I had to move. A bedside light into the lounge as it was a depressing light, whoops I forgot to put it back. Sorry. Having said that I would happily stay here again, it was almost perfect.»
