«The room was clean and comfortable even if the furniture was dated. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby area. The inn is located in a quiet area on the Wilson lake. It would be lovely in the summer to take advantage of the lake. In the winter it is still beautiful to walk out on the lake. «Everything about The Hostel of Maine impressed me. The location was perfect, free shuttles to local restaurants and ski resort. Great customer service! Beautiful place! I expected to go just once. I just left and I already want to go back. Definitely a 10 out of 10!»

«Absolutely beautiful home. I felt like I was going back in time. I spent Thanksgiving night there and did not encounter another living soul during my visit. Walking through the house was an undescribable feeling, as if I both did and did not belong there (yes a was a guest --but in the wrong century!). Time travel. «Had a wonderful stay! The kids enjoyed the big pool and game room. The room was very spacious (we had a 2 bedroom) , and had all necessary kitchen appliances and tools. The decor is basic but that’s definitely reflected in the price. Would absolutely stay again! »
