This luxurious property stand on a small hill 5 minutes walk from the beach (awarded with a blue flag!) offering stunning and panoramic views of the sea and the surroundings.

It has 4 bedrooms and is equipped with all necessary amenities to ensure that their guests a comfortable, relaxing and unforgettable accommodation.

It offers enjoyable spaces outside (largely shaded by pergolas), where you can sit and relax at any time of the day, for example, the wide pool area where is the large and beautiful swimming pools, provided with very comfortable sun loungers; or you can have “al fresco” dinners under an elegant pergola.

To facilitate your holidays, we offer a set of services such as transfer to your place of residence from the airport, children management, stocked refrigerator etc, all available upon request and availability.

Moderne Villa ganz nah am Meer

Wunderschöne, luxuriöse und gut ausgestattete Villa. Die Fotos und die Beschreibung waren sehr genau. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Eigentümerin, Stella, war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Unweit gibt es eine einfache aber sehr gute Taverne. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen.

Dream of Lifetime Trip to Crete!

Words cannot adequately express how lovely and wonderful our stay in Crete was with Stella as host of Villa Amvrosia. This beautiful location was matched only by the generous and warm hospitality of Stella, who had the house stocked with everything you could want or need in the fridge, including fresh produce from her family farm, as well as a personal greeting and help upon arrival that went beyond expectations! A beautiful home baked cake even appeared at one point, truly expressing the Cretan generosity and fantastic local cuisine. The house is perfectly situated to be able to walk to the gorgeous beach and taverna and drive a short trip to the grocery store if needed. The charming waterfront town of Iepetera is just a short drive away. The villa has plenty of room for a family of 8, the pool and outdoor dining and gardens are exquisite. We are so thankful to Stella and so glad we found this amazing property! Crete is magical and so worth the visit. A car to tour more of the island is highly recommended, but if you choose to stay at the local beach area you will be enchanted by the beauty and enjoy the relaxation. The views from this property are stunning - all in all, a wonderful stay to enjoy sun, family, food, ancient sites and the Greek spirit.

Perfect setting

Our stay was more than we could have imagined. We were warmly greeted with a tour of the house as well as a stocked fridge. The location was perfect, it close to the beach, tavern, and has plenty of of restaurants nearby as well as grocery stores. The owners shared their wonderful grapes with us and made us a homemade cake. We took advantage of the pool and bbq area in the back! We are looking forward to returning!

Magnifique location avec vue sur la mer de Libye

Propriété très propre et fonctionnelle, nous étions à 2 familles de 4 et 5 personnes pour la semaine. Les propriétaires sont adorables et très discrets. Le frigo était plein à l’arrivée (fruits, huile olive maison, vin et raki) et dans la semaine ils nous ont porté une délicieuse Mussaka et de la viande. La pergola est idéale pour les repas et jeux de société à l’abri de la chaleur. La piscine est très propre et agréable. Le ménage en milieu de semaine est appréciable. La plage est juste en bas de la location à 5 minutes à pied et une taverne permet de se restaurer et boire. Bref séjour parfait! Merci à nos hôtes!

Traumhafter Aufenthalt mit freundlichen Gastgebern

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Villa Amvrosia, es war sehr sauber und vor allem die Strandhandtücher und Poolhandtücher sind ein super Service. Der Pool ist ein Highlight und auch die Poolumgebung ist erste Klasse. Im Kühlschrank waren schon viele Lebensmittel die sehr nützlich waren. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit

Super Maison En bord de mer

Accueil parfait par le propriétaire qui habite au rez-de-chaussée. Très discret et soucieux de faire plaisir. Frigo rempli à l’arrivée : fruits, lait, eau, vins, bières spécialités locales. Localisation en bord de mer, très belle plage à pied complètement à l’abri du vent. Ménage fait en milieu de semaine, drap et serviettes changées . Terrasse et piscine entretenues tous les jours. Tout était parfait !

Amazing villa, lovely location

Beautiful villa, very clean and every need catered for. Pool area very large and lovely big shaded area. Quite rural so definitely need a car, the local beach very nice and a 5 min walk from the villa.

Wohlfühlhaus direkt am Meer

Wir haben mit acht Personen eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem Haus verbracht. Die Vorzüge: Es war alles sehr, sehr sauber, zudem gab es nach 4 Tagen neue Handtücher und eine Reinigung der Räume. Fast alle Fenster sind mit hochwertigen Fliegengittern ausgestattet, sodass man nachts bei geöffneten Fenstern schlafen kann. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der Außenbereich am Pool, den man auf den Fotos eigentlich kaum sieht. Hier haben wir jede Mahlzeit zu uns genommen, weil dieser Bereich sowohl vor Sonne als auch vor Wind geschützt ist und über sehr bequeme Möbel verfügt. Außerdem sind dort ein Grill und auch ein Kühlschrank vorhanden. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war nett und unaufdringlich, besonders gefreut haben wir uns über die Lebensmittel, die bei unserer Ankunft vorhanden waren, und den sehr leckeren Apfelkuchen, den wir im Verlauf der Woche beschenkt bekamen. Der kleine Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen und war, zumindest im Oktober, nahezu leer. Das Wasser war sehr sauber, sodass vor allem die Kinder hier gerne ihre Zeit mit Schwimmen und Schnorcheln verbracht haben. Alles in allem: Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und empfehlen dieses Haus gerne weiter.

Villa meravigliosa molto curata e pulita dotata di tutti i comfort in una posizione stupenda con vista mozzafiato . Una delle più belle spiagge della zona a 5 minuti a piedi . I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e premurosi . La Sig.ra Anna ci ha coccolato con le sue prelibatezze culinarie . Non potevamo stare meglio .

Wunderbare Ferienvilla in schönster Lage

Wir hatten dort mit 6 Personen einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Der ruhige,saubere Sandstrand in einer kleinen Bucht ist nur ca.5 min Fusßweg entfernt, ebenso eine Taverne mit reichhaltiger bodenständig-griechischer Küche. - Das Haus selber hat allen Komfort. Die Gastgeber im Untergeschoß sind sehr diskret, hilfreich und sehr freundlich. An einem Abend verwöhnten sie uns mit einem üppigen Mahl. Wir hatten in dem Haus unvergeßliche Tage.

Lovely well equipped villa with great facilities and views

The villa is absolutely lovely. It's modern, well equipped with everything you need, plenty of space, evenly sized bedrooms (so no-one gets the 'poor room') and really, really clean. In fact we had a maid visit twice within 9 days who cleaned the villa from top to bottom. The highlight of the villa is the aspect out across the bay, which is best enjoyed on the dining terrace where you watch the sun set and the moon rise across the sea every night. The pool sits slightly to the rear. It's very private yet still affords seas views across bay. The pool is super clean, a really decent size and has nice canopied/shaded areas if you want to keep out of the sun. it also has an outside kitchen and fridge for keeping drinks cool, along with a decent size BBQ. Inside the open plan areas work really well, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need for a week away - although to be honest you'll spend most of your time outside in the sun. There is another balcony on the first floor which although too hot to sit on during the day, is perfect for that late afternoon first drink. If you want to venture out, there is a stone beach at the foot of the bay (5 minute walk) with a beach bar, ice cream and a couple of tavernas. Used mainly by the locals, it's really charming with stunning clear blue water and safe swimming due to a gradual slope leading into the sea. Otherwise you are only 15 minutes from a choice of other beaches that offer a bit more sand and space. The location is fairly remote so ideal for those looking to experience local life, bars, tavernas etc rather than the 'full-on tourist' beaches elsewhere. Stella and her husband (the owners) cannot be more helpful and if you're lucky she'll bake you a cake or even a local dish from their BBQ. We stayed as 2 families of four with teenage kids and everyone gave the stay a solid 10/10 - so you really can't get better than that.

A beautiful villa in a peaceful location with stunning views of the sea.

We highly recommend this stunning villa for a holiday in this relaxed unspoilt part of Crete. The villa is as lovely in reality as it looks in the photos, if not better. The views from the balconies are stunning and we spent many relaxed evenings enjoying looking out to sea and listening to the waves lapping the shore. The villa was immaculate inside and out and was very well equipped. The pool area was clean, spacious, private and has lovely comfy loungers. Anna and George (along with Stella) were the most kind, helpful and generous hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be; they provided an excellent welcome pack containing everything we needed for the first couple of days and they cooked 2 delicious meals for us during our 2 week stay which was so kind and generous of them. We also got to enjoy a delicious home made apple cake. The lovely beach is a 5 minute stroll away with loungers & parasols for 6€ and a good taverna at the back of the beach. You need a car to get to larger supermarkets and other tavernas (10 min drive) in nearby Kourtsouras. We loved this part of Crete as it is relatively quiet (even in August we could get loungers on the beach & tables in the tavernas) and it’s full of Greek people rather than ‘Brits abroad’ swamping everywhere! We would love to return one day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the villa & area to anyone!

Fantastic villa, wonderful location

Exactly as described, a great Villa with wonderful hospitality from the owners. We did experience an issue with the transfer which we organised ourselves - had we used the people Stella recommended we wouldn't have. We hired a car from the company recommended by Stella and they were just brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful. No hidden costs - just honest, nice people. The air con (in every room) was the best I've ever experienced in Greece, beds were really comfortable and to have the place cleaned and linen changed half way through the week was a real treat. If you looking for a large, comfortable Villa with the most spectacular views this is it.

We had an amazing time in this house. great beach at 5 min walk, amazing view from bedrooms and balcony, kind staff and landlord. 20 minutes to the nearest city by car great shops. will definately go back there!

Fantastic two weeks with our small children

Beautiful villa in perfect location! Stella could not be more helpful, as were Anna and George! Very spoilt with fresh fish from George and cake from Anna, so lovely. We stayed with our two children 2 and 3 months, perfect for them! Played in the pool everyday and BBQ every night! Short drive to makrygialos for the lovely sandy beach and resteraunts! Or 5 minute walk down the hill to the beautiful pebble beach below! We didn't want to leave!

Our second visit and just as brilliant!

After a fabulous stay last year we just had to come back! Stella and her family were once again very welcoming. The property is very clean and very well equipped. The views are beautiful and you can happily 'waste' hours looking at them over relaxing, long lunches (if you're lucky lunch sometimes includes delicious home cooked food from the owners!) The area remains off the beaten track with the tavernas in the area being packed out with locals which we think is always a good sign. You do need a car and to be prepared to drive a short distance for good meals but it's well worth it. We love Crete and explored areas we hadn't been to before. If you are looking for complete relaxation, away from crowds - this is it. (2 families 4 adults and 5 children)

The perfect holiday villa...

Being a regular visitor to this quiet region of Crete I can honestly say I have finally found the perfect villa. From first enquiry to departure the owners could not be more friendly and helpful. The owners are the perfect hosts and their villa has everything you could need during your stay. They cooked us an amazing fish lunch, so kind and totally unexpected! Their welcome package included a full fridge of everything you would need for the first few days, bread, fruit and veg, beer wine etc. There are a two tavernas and a lovely quiet beach a short walk from the villa. If you take advantage of the use of the owners hire car you can explore a part of Crete which less frequently asked visited by other tourists. I can not recommend this villa more and will be staying again on future trips. Thank you Anna and George!
