Bra nok, men forfall og svak organisasjon.
Jeg innrømmer jeg bodde i en suite, med upgrade. Og så må jeg si at dette var fjerde gang jeg bor på Golkonda. Så det må være noe som de gjør riktig. F.eks. denne sikkerhetsvakten ved inngangen (en Sikh) som er meget vennlig og imøtekommende. Men ellers er det vel en hel del forfall å melde. Rensligheten er blandet, for å si det mildt. Service er vennlig, men totalt uorganisert, man får et smil og et "ja selvfølgelig, med en gang!" men det blir ikke fulgt opp. De prøver hardt, men organisasjon er ikke deres domene! Lunsj og dinner er bra, frokost er ikke noe spesielt.

In room service dining is very pricy and not realistic. Ex: small thumbs up can is charged at 250 Rs which is nothing but daylight robbery. Same with other food prices whether it is room service or on property dining. 3 star hotel charging 5 star prices.

Though our check in was delayed way beyond the committed time of 1:00 PM, the stay at the hotel made up considerably for this rather bitter beginning. The rooms are clean and comfortable and very well maintained. The bathroom and closet too are clean and comfortable, also equipped with a hair dryer and a magnifying mirror. The breakfast spread was awesome and definitely something to write about! The tea is terrible with a few drops of oil floating and the staff took too long to give me an actually good cup of tea! But yet a minor snarl compared to the great stay my family and I had at the hotel! Will definitely return for another stay soon!

Disappointing stay.
As a solo female traveller, I ended up having a bad time at this hotel. Starting from the check in, the receptionist at the front desk was rude. The mattress was stinking. The room I was given was next to maybe the supply closet, I am not sure, but the entire night I kept waking up due to the noise and getting scared that someone was trying to open the door to my room. Staff has no idea about their own menu. The food and cutlery served had eyelash on them. Overall, a terrible stay. If you want to judge the overall condition of the hotel, just look at the condition of the mouse pad of the receptionists.

I was given a corner room which didn’t have hot water and also very limited internet. I had to go down to the lobby for proper internet acces. Informed the staff about the room. Also, the corner rooms on the floors were given to alcohol drinkers with staff providing them with Ice and water for groups.

I strongly caution you to stay away from this hotel. My business partners and I got food poisoning from eating in their restaurant. We were up all night with violent motions and vomiting. The place looks good, but I would never go here again. I highly suggest that you chose the Novatel Hotel down the road and not risk get sicking. If you do get sick, don't say that I didn't warn you!!!!

Warning! Our group got violent food poisoning from the food served here at the buffet! I strongly advise to not stay at this hotel. Better to stay at the Novatel Hotel just down the road. For the price that you pay here, you expect clean and hygienic preparations with the food, but that was not the case here. Next time, I will definitely be going elsewhere, and if you don't want to get sick, I advise the same!

The rooms are quite small. The shower was leaking every time we used it and The water was leaking onto the floor. The bathroom floor was very outdated with many stains on the floor. The comforter on the bed had a strong smell. The housekeeping was done daily and the buffet in the restaurant was awesome.

Extremely helpful staff in general. Folks at reception fail to follow through on requests. Wi-fi service is very weak and stops connection even when two concurrent devices are connected Technician had to be called to fix issues. Breakfast is OK but service during breakfast is terrible. The corridors are ugly. Food is not safe. Staff touches cooked food with bare hands.

It was pretty standard. I must say, a little effort could've made this experience memorable. There is no doubt that the property is old, and it seems they are making an effort to renovate. The bathrooms were decently clean, but there were annoying leaks that flooded the bathroom. The linen had a few stains, although seems clean off the laundry. The items listed in the 24 hour menu were not available, which was disappointing. Food was above average for sure, no complains there. Breakfast served at lobby was pretty good, decent spread. Coffee was substandard and cups were not present any of the days at the buffet and had to be asked for. Don't get me wrong, the rooms were clean and stay was comfortable. Lastly, i was asked to check out early at 11:30am because "they were overbooked"

Dislike: The room is well furnished, but could have been improvised with time. There is no pedestal lamp at all Unless requested the electric iron and board are not provided. Linen is good/average, but needs more attention. Bathroom: The shower water spills outside the cubicle through the gap at the door hinge. This was reported on almost all occassions of my stay but never attended to (simple/temp solution of blanking the gap with a plastic flexible sheet would resolve the issue). I am sure to stay in this hotel in future visits to Hyderabd

VERY GOOD
Stsyed 1 night yesterday but spent 2 weeks at the Golkinda two years ago and had a pleasant stay. All the staff are very helpful and breakfast has a good choice with reasonable quick service. We requested and were allowed a late check out. I recommended the Golkonda.
