Excellent place to stay
Very clean room, good enough size. Very comfortable mattress, clean linens & towels. One I got is a connecting room which means there is a door (separate doors on both sides, locked though) connecting two adjacent rooms, this is useful when a family takes adjacent rooms. Otherwise when doors are locked, I can clearly hear person in other room talking (when a bit loud, say on phone), which sometimes can be disturbing. Later, I got to know that they have rooms which don't have connecting doors which I would ask for. Otherwise, everything with room is excellent. Very clean bath room, it is of good size, no water stains any where by which I mean it is really clean (as expected for the star rating of this one). Location wise, it is not walkable nor anything much near by. It doesn't matter if you have vehicle or if you don't care about it. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Good property. Need better trianed staff.
Pro: The hotel was good. Definitely worth the visit next time. The hotel room was comfortable. The location was good and easily approacable. Con: Our flight got delayed and we reached the hotel room at around 1:30 am, we were extremely tired. The receptionist asked us to sign up for the Rewards program and we requestee that as we are tired and need to sleep. All to vain. The receptionist pushed us very hard to sign up. I think it should be customers choice and you need to stop pushing. We forgot our key card and upon requesting the another one, the same receptionist made it difficult for us to take an extra one.

Good place to stay in the heart of Hyderabad
Very good and courteous staff. Very responsive To requests. Only two things and I am splitting hairs - bathroom floor was slippery. Need to very careful. I did recommend the team on acquiring some anti slip mats in shower. This could reduce the hotel liability should some one falls in shower - for some reason all my expenses weren’t able to be charged to the room and I had to pay instantly.

Worst hospitality
The hotels both grand kakatiya and Mercury are in a bad shape, they don’t have sufficient staff , who ever are working don’t have experience, some of them may have experience in smaller hotels. The mercury hotel (managed by Accor group) front office manager telling, they won’t honor reservations from Hotels.com, I suggest that you should take the issue with Accor group to keep up your business interest. I’m sick of their service as well as Hospitality.

Requested change in booking dates. They accepted the change Per email and call from a local person to confirm the change. but when I went there was no room. I will call directly next time. Other than that very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay there again.
