Super hotel for women travelling alone.
I'm always curious to experience how I'm treated when I travel to resorts alone. During my stay at Sunrise Holidays Resort I was met with respect and no funny looks by the employees. Everybody was greeted by smiles from employees, at least I felt very welcome. My room was thoroughly cleaned every day, of course with mandatory towel figures. :-) The food was tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. Service and cleanliness was thorough and efficient. All the tables had bottles of desinfection liquid, and the tables were desinfected between each seating. My only negative comment is the extreme disregard of the face mask and proximity rules by a lot of the guests, and I didn't see that people used them how they were supposed to. The beach/pool is just lovely. Lots to choose between. Wind/ no wind, sun/shadow, near the music or not. The hotel has a non-reserving rule of sunbeds. Unfortunately no one respected this. I observed people running around 6am and reserving beds and not coming back before 1pm, and then yelling to the beach staff because somebody had moved the sunbed. There must be a way to fix this. So as you can see my critique is to the guests and not to the hotel. I'm definitely coming back to this hotel.

I recommend that hotel
Great staff. The all inclusive was surprisingly good I always managed to find something that I wanted. There is a shopping street in short walking distance from the hotel.

Nydelige uteområder, men ett gammelt hotel
Sunrise er ett gammelt hotell, men alle rom fra 5 etg og ned er nylig renovert og i meget bra standar. All inclusive programmet er meget bra og man får mye for en billig penge. Hotelet har meget pene uteområder og ett hygelig aktivitets team på plass på stranden. Meget bra at det ikke fantes barn På området.

Great location, great food, amazing staff but a little dated in places. We had a strange smell coming from the AC and the room was a bit tired looking. The furniture was all dented, but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeper was brilliant and even made a towel birthday cake for my mum. If I ever find myself in Hurghada again, I will return. Thanks

A superb time was had within the complex of the hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. The food was excellent and the atmosphere very warm and friendly. The experiences we had 'outside' of the hotel were another matter. It was exasperating feeling like human carrion wherever we went. Next time we will just stay in the hotel.

Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt it was not a 5* hotel. Quite tired for a "recently renovated" Premium room. Good variety and quantity of food in the main buffet restaurant. Quality was a mixed bag - there was always something good at every meal though. The room was good apart from stinking drains in the bathroom. Easily solved by blocking them with the flannels provided but reporting the problem to the hotel had no effect so we suspect it's an expected problem with all Egyptian sewer systems. The blanket was stained and edge binding was ripped in one corner, resulting in a serious trip, torn muscle and continuing ankle pain and suffering - staff member from guest services it was reported to did not seem concerned or apologetic enough or likely to remedy it for others. The "app" was awful. Very slow and inefficient. Restaurant bookings made through it never reached the restaurants. Wifi started off slow and got slower after an "upgrade" but there was at least a signal in most places. We are lucky to have survived the driving supplied by Ali at the taxi desk on our overnight trip to Luxor. The driver was clearly overworked and tired, as well as driving dangerously fast and aggressively. Allowing Ali to operate from the hotel reflects badly on the hotel and our experience of it. We expected his company would have been checked and approved by the hotel. Einegar and Tarak at the Splash bar were friendly and helpful. Most other staff were good but sometimes too eager.

Un desastre el transporte por taxi al aeropuerto proporcionado por el propio hotel. Nos obligaron a pagar en dólares y en cash, totalmente ilegal no poder pagar con al moneda local, pero la cosa no acabó aquí sino que el taxi que nos tenía que llevar a las 4 de la mañana al aeropuerto y que estaba pagado no vino a la hora y apareció 30m tarde después de amenazar de llamar a la policía y el hotel no nos daba ninguna solución.el hotel dice que es un taxi externo pero está contratado en el hotel y ellos mismos son quien los envían. Fatal para no repetir nunca más También decir que las habitaciones de categoría superior tienen el ruido constante de un compresor que no para no de día ni de noche. Nosotros que éramos 3 viajando no volveremos nunca más.

To be honest. They never said that they would have a party that was so loud is shook the windows and make it impossible to think let alone asleep. I could see in the build up it was going to be bad so I asked three times to be able to move rooms. They didn't understand or let me three times. And so it was terrible. Don't get me wrong I understand a lot of people came for the party but I didn't. Nor was I warned about it. And really I should have been and been moved. So I got very little sleep which was the main reason I went on holiday. So very annoyed by it all. The only person that came back to me did so on the last day and asked if there was anything she could do. Lol. I was leaving in 4 hours time. And the damage had already been done. Never going back.

Das Hotel ist zwar etwas älter, aber es ist sehr gut instand gehalten. Ständig wird irgendwo etwas unauffällig in Ordnung gebracht. Das Hotel ist supersauber und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich wirklich als Gast des Hauses. Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen und wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Le personnel est d une réactivité incroyable. Aimable et à l écoute. Les chambres sont propres et le linge de toilette impeccables. La nourriture est extrêmement variée. Thèmes différents et pour tous les goûts. Le jour de notre départ, nous avons rendu notre chambre pour midi et on nous a prêté gracieusement des serviettes de plage. Sans supplément nous avons mangé le midi et une chambre avec douche pour se rincer avant le départ. Le centre de plongée qui fait parti de l hôtel est aussi au top. Mon amie y a passé son Advanced Padi. Pour être une niveau 3 Fédération Française, je peux dire que la formation était de très bonne qualité. Nous reviendrons

Le personnel est d une réactivité incroyable. Aimable et à l écoute. Les chambres sont propres et le linge de toilette impeccables. La nourriture est extrêmement variée. Thèmes différents et pour tous les goûts. Le jour de notre départ, nous avons rendu notre chambre pour midi et on nous a prêté gracieusement des serviettes de plage. Sans supplément nous avons mangé le midi et une chambre avec douche pour se rincer avant le départ. Le centre de plongée qui fait parti de l hôtel est aussi au top. Mon amie y a passé son Advanced Padi. Pour être une niveau 3 Fédération Française, je peux dire que la formation était de très bonne qualité. Que ce soit les encadrants ou le personnels du bateau, tous sont souriants et d une efficacité incroyable. Nous reviendrons

Hotel très décevant, je ne comprends pas les nombreux commentaires positifs sur l'établissement. Le hall d'accueil n'est pas agréable, pas climatisé, personnel de la réception non souriant et pas accueillant. Les chambres sont vieilles, décoration totalement obsolete, literie inconfortable, les draps sont très vieux et de fait reches, l'eau coulait jaune dans la salle de bain à l'évier, le ménage réalisé approximativement. Restaurant : globalement la nourriture était de meilleure qualité que dans les autres établissements, mais le personnel totalement désorganisé, c'est juste incroyable de devoir se servir soit même en couverts et serviettes pour installer sa table. Très peu d'espace dans le restaurant alors que l'hôtel était loin d'être plein, il a fallu plusieurs fois attendre pour pouvoir avoir une table disponible. Piscine : correcte, rien à redire Jaccuzi : sale Plage : petite crique, les gens réservent les transats et il est difficile de trouver de la place disponible. Animations : tous les jours la même chose sauf le spectacle du soir qui est qualitatif, équipe agréable. Je regrette d'avoir choisi cet établissement qui ne vaut absolument pas le prix payé, il n'y a pas de végétation et surtout l'état des chambres est vraiment dépassé.
