Remove 2 stars - that is what it is worth
Not five stars worth - dirty, towels smell of cigaret smoke, 50 % of service staff do not speak english, Lousy food and the same each day, a chef stood behind the buffet eating with his hands from the buffet which are very bad hygiene only internet working probely is in the lobby, building or renovation in progres - the lobby bar and lobby staff in the bar was doing a great job but this place is NOT a five star resort.

An sich ist es eine schöne Anlage. Aber viele Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufdringlich und versuchen einem immer etwas anzudrehen wie Tagesausflüge, Wellness usw. Ein nein versteht man dort nicht beim 1. Mal. Sehr flirty waren sie auch, obwohl man deutig zu verstehen gibt, dass keine Interesse besteht. Meine Freundin und ich waren jetzt im Januar dort und das Schlafzimmer hatte keine Heizung , sodass wir abends mit 4 Decken und selbst gebastelte Wärmeflaschen schlafen gehen mussten. Was auch unverschämt war, dass man sogar mit Euro zahlen müsste und nicht mit deren Währung. Finde, dass es generell ein Abzockerland ist. Das Kliente hat uns diesen Urlaub genau bestätigt wie wir es uns davor vorgestellt hatten.

In general, I have a pleasant experience staying in this hotel for 2 nights. The cons were lack of green plants and shadow on the hotel's territory, the very poor WIFI internet that is available only at the lobby.

Es wurde umgebaut mit viel Baulärm auch bis spät in die Nacht hinein. Die Sauberkeit im Speisesaal hinter den Köchen war bedenklich. Heruntergefallen Speisen wurden nicht weggeräumt .... In Hotelnähe haben streunende Hude einen Abendspaziergang vor dem Hotel nicht zugelassen.

Freundlicher und Aufmerksamer Service
Es waren einige wirklich erholsame Urlaubstage im Samra Bay. Auch wenn nur ein 4stern Hotel, der Service und die Sauberkeit liessen an nichts wünschen. Besonders die Rezeptionisten waren von einer ausgesprochenen Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Das Animationsteam war soft und respektierte die individuellen Entscheidungen bei den Aktivitäten mit zu machen oder nicht. Besonders hat mir auch gefallen dass während des Aufenthaltes jeweils die Mōglichkeit bestand kostenfrei einmal im italienischen und einmal im orientalischen Spezialitätenrestaurant das Abendessen einzunehmen.

Rejst starten af marts måned , stille og rolig afslapningsted. Personale i restauranten og baren er venlig og hjælpsomme . Ved udtjek petsonale siger at deres Visakard terminal ikke virker og vil have jeg skal have penge, og betale gebyr på det dette synes jeg er ikke var sødt fra dem, og vi er 2 voksne og 3børn har brugt deres transport til og fra byen med 1 bil, ved udtjekning mener det at vi skal have 2 biler da det mener at vi ikke kan være i er bil , vi betaler for 2 biler som det vil have men bruger kun den ene fra hotellet til lufthavn , sp jeg har betalt for 1ekstra bil som jeg ikke har brugt efter 2 personales præst som stå i receptionen

Overall, this is a bad a hotel. The money you save in the booking, you spend in the hotel as they nickel and dime you for everything. The all inclusive package is very misleading. The package only means free meals at the restaurant and free soft drinks. When we found that out, we upgraded to the package so that we could get alcoholic drinks as well, however, we later found out that they have no variety in alcohol. One type of rum, whiskey and vodka. All of them were some brand I never heard of. Also, any type of mixed drink was extra even though we paid for the higher all inclusive package. Many areas of the resort were still under construction. There are about 4 or 5 very over priced shops on the property. There is a pharmacy less then five minutes walking from the lobby that is much more reasonably priced and has anything you might have forgotten. The hotel has one “heated” pool. By heated, I mean that they put a cover at night on the pool and let the sun heat it in the morning. By 2:00 Pm, the water is cold again. The biggest disappointment in the hotel is the hours. This hotel is only open from 10:00 until 5:00 Pm. Pool, beach, gym, all close. Also, gym cost extra to use. WiFi in the lobby is free, but was horrible and the WiFi in the rooms is over priced and very weak. The only thing that saves this place is the better than average entertainment at night. They have good shows and a group that gets the audience involved but I would never stay there again.

Over het algemeen tevreden over het hotel. Minpuntjes waren het kleine TV-scherm in de hotelkamer en de baai bij het strand, dat is voor snorkelaars niet helder. Wel is er een stukje verderop een mogelijkheid om te gaan snorkelen in de Rode Zee.

Beware that this hotel deal directly with expedia and not ebookers so book through expedia. Had to fight tooth and nail for things ebookers promised. The hotel reception staff first reaction was to say no to most things. Samra bay is next to a building site and the hardcore drilling started at 7 in the morning. Having asked to move rooms it was ignored. The pools were freezing, the sea was slightly warmer!

Excellent Staff & Hotel very friendly will do anything for you. Cleaners are constantly cleaning and Hotel is spotless. Food was Excellent lots of choices and Chefs will go out of there way to make you anything. Only fault Local Spirits could be better.

Wonderful Red Sea Resort
Set in a perfect location, there is no need to go anywhere else if all you want is to sunbathe and swim. Perfect for families or couples of all ages. As a single older woman I cannot speak too highly of the staff for their care and consideration. Still somewhat under construction, but beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. If you want to explore further there is a wealth of opportunities. A highlight for me was a trip to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings et al. Spectacular. Beware of Egyptian tummy, and don’t drink the ice. Plenty of bottled water provided freely. Definitely going to return.

The worst stay in my life! Never again!
The hotel is still under construction, the beach is under construction also, tracks working directly on the beach. No place to stay on the beach. The same situation with pool, overcrowded because of works on the beach. The beach itself is very small and so far from the sea, you cannot even see the shoreline. You can swim only in some small “lake” with sea water, looks like soup from people and salty water, quite disgusting feeling. So, you can forget about swimming in the sea with clear water, no snorkeling of course, no beach. The phone in the room is not working in whole hotel. Hot water is not working also (!) we took hot shower just two days during all the week. The sheets was not changed also during all week. They are changing beach towels every day, BUT looks like they are not washing them even, just drying under the sun (!) , the smell and marks on towels. So, i saw many guests who was buying new beach towels for them self (me as well) from the shops nearby. Check in: when we made booking, we wrote, that we will need transfer from airport and early check in( 6 am). 3 month before trip. There was no answer. We tried to contact hotel to confirm our booking, no answer. Until we reached head office in Cairo. Only them confirmed our request. But when we reached hotel, they said that early check in cost 50$ and there is no free rooms now, only suites. And we need to pay more for it also!!!! So we paid for one more night, just to be able to sleep after 20 hours flight !!!
