I enjoyed our stay, but for the money I’d say it was mediocre.
What was good:
Location
Great staff
Pools were clean and good temperatures
Lovely views
Not so good:
The oceanfront suite we were in needs dramatic updates. Awful bed and pillows. Towels were also terrible, and it was dated in general. Though it was fairly clean
The food poolside was not good, had multiple food items on multiple days and all were not good. Bartenders were great.
The food in the Cabo Wabo was outrageously overpriced for the buffet for the quality and even temperature of the food (mostly cold) and in general was a poor experience.
This was a very mixed visit and a mixed property, we saw updated rooms while walking on our floor and perhaps they were better, not sure. But for the $600 we paid per night, meh.. We likely won’t be back.
