«Booked the hotel in the afternoon online, arrived at 19.00 - nobody there. Reception closed and all dark! Eventually discovered a note with a phone no to call in "emergency" - suprise - answeringmachine! Then tried next phone no and a very surprised persons answered and it took her at least 30 minutes to arrive. The restaurant was closed Mondays and Tuesdays, we had to head out in the dark to find somewhere to eat dinner. Was advised there had been an "staff emergency" that afternoon... However ...

«Beautiful place! A nice cottage surrounded by trees and birds. If you want want to decompress and turn off from the world, this is the place. It still has wi-fi and TV, so bring your Chromecast or Fire TV stick. Location is gorgeous, right in the middle of the forest. Even though there are some wineyards nearby, it is about 15 minutes from the main area in Pokolbin. We were greeted with a breakfast basket and the cottage was very good (number 3). «My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Talga. The place was very clean and neat. We really enjoyed seeing all the kangaroos on the property. It was so relaxing to stay on a vineyard. Views are beautiful. We had such a lovely sleep. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Property was near to all the local attractions but away to be able to enjoy. Highly recommend this place to anyone. »
