«Loved our 3 days at Taru Villas. Beautiful, quiet boutique hotel on a fabulous beach. The staff made the hotel feel like home -they were exceptional. Particular shout out to Pramodya who made us very welcome, and to Sam who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.
Restaurant was also excellent!»

«This is a lovely resort, and we had a wonderful stay. The beach is quite and the hotel is very relaxing and low key. The kitchen staff was accommodating as we are vegetarians.
The hotel needs some maintenance- the paint was peeling and the furniture looks old and worn out. »

«The place is situated close by all the relevant beaches, especially Hiriketiya and Nilwella beach.
It is about 10-15 minutes to get to hiriketiya road where most of the shops/resturants are.
Its calm and tranquil at this place, away from the busy scene at hiriketiya road yet not to far to get there when you want.
Space to park if u have tuk tuk, scooter etc. The rooms are cozy and clean. Some good restaurants very close by.

«This resort is situated off the beaten track. It was just what we were looking for. The manager was friendly and did every to make our stay there enjoyable. Like any guest house or resort if you go when there are fewer guests please remember to order your food for the evening at breakfast before the chef goes to market. »

They arranget the best prices on the beach for scooter rental, and they reduced the price for brekfast by 90%. I did encounter a broken window that wouldnt close. But their extremely handy staff fixed in in a minute, with a big smile on their face! The hotel is suitable for both families, couples and friends. I really want to come back here.»

«What can I say about the best 4 nights/ 5 day stay at the stunning Uga Prāva? Impeccable, luxurious, relaxed, elegant, extremely friendly staff (Prem is one wonderful butler), delicious food. The attention to detail is on- point, everything from the seamlessly understated decor, to the gorgeous infinity pool, gardens, view out over the Indian Ocean, quiet, seriously comfortable suites, .. I could go on and on.
If I could rate it, we would give Uga Prāva 7 out of 5 stars 🌟 We will be returning!»

«The hotel was substantially abandoned: the beach bar and restaurant featured in the Expedia listing had been demolished, and I saw only one staff member during my stay, a lady with slight English. When I left at 10.30 on Tuesday morning no-one was around.
The rooms were satisfactory - electrics and plumbing were working, bed linen was clean, and a large balcony with loungers was shared with the other two rooms on the floor. WiFi was available at times but rarely reached the 2nd ...

«Good parts. Location for beach, size of axcomodation, privacy, quite modern.
Bad parts.. paid for breakfast NO BREAKFAST!!! NO WIFI AT ALL!!! NO HOT WATER AT ALL!! Then there was other things that it said the accomodation had but wasnt there...ie desk, slippers, bottled water.
Worst of all the accomodation is next door to a temple that has chanting through a loud speaker starting at 05.30am and lasts about 45 minutes. This is repeated at 6pm....very loud.»
