Great place to stay, only issue for us was the bathroom was pretty small in the room. And the ceiling was low in the shower. But other than that it was great, great service, great swimming pool, family friendly.

Updated resort with a convention center. Free parking. Staff is friendly. We stayed in the higher level floor delux lake view king bed. If you stay in lower floors you get more of a view of the convention center. We stayed on the 9th floor & could see 180 degrees of lake and bay beyond that plus the pool could be seen. It changed colors at night. My favorite is early mornings & night.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und das Parken einfach und kostenlos. Es ist aber unglaublich laut. Partyboote vor der Tür so dass ein Aufenthalt auf dem Balkon am Wochenende nicht möglich ist. Party im Nebenzimmer. Direkt unserem Zimmer gegenüber Tagungsraum mit stark alkoholisierten Mitarbeiter einer großen Firma.

The property was very nice and the staff was efficient and professional. Little disappointed that they did not have room service, as they had almost all of the amenities one would want when staying at a resort.

Charging 50$ a night for incidentals is a little extreme. Taking a week to get your deposit back is ridiculous. Breakfast buffet didn’t have many choices for the price.

We spent a little more to get a room with a view. It was wonderful. It looked out over the water with all the yachts, parked in their boat slips. It was a nice walk, and the pool was seen from our window, which created another beautiful view the room was nice and clean and the restaurant downstairs served very good food and it was very good service. I recommend and I will be going back.

We came to see the Johnson Space Center. This place is relatively close. We dined once at the hotel restaurant. There were several other places near by. The Galveston Bay Brewing was good with a huge selection. The only star I took off was for noise. Walls are thin and we could hear our neighbor (talking, sneezing, coughing, phone alarm). Great fitness center down the street that can be accessed.

Caution to those who are expecting a beautiful bay view from the balcony. If you book a room on the East side, you'll see the bay...way beyond the giant, ugly flat roof below you. Also, the balconies are never cleaned & the bathrooms are gross (low hanging ugly ceiling tiles in the bathrooms, no vent fans, failing sealant, busted door veneer, no towel rack by the shower, shower heads nasty, soap smells like lemon cleaner). Also, the fire sprinkler heads and escutcheons are rusty. We had to switch rooms. Second room was same as the first. The facility seems to mainly be for conferences, etc. so they keep the lobby fairly nice for that purpose. You're much better off staying anywhere else.

Great property - clean, quiet, great pool area, very close to Kemah Boardwalk - couple of miles down the road. It’s definitely worth it for the price plus free parking.
