The only con I have is Valet parking. Not much room to leave car and Valet staff was understaffed.

This hotel was very unreasonable. Our original flight was delayed and eventually cancel. I kept in contact with the hotel the entire ordeal. When I contacted the hotel and stated they canceled our flight and I needed to cancel our reservation I was told it would not be a problem all I had to do is contact the company I went through and they will be able to cancel. The company reached out to them and let them know how our flights were canceled and we wanted a refund since we couldn’t make it because of the airline. ( still no reimbursement) to top it all off it was our one year anniversary and we were recommended by friends how awesome this hotel was and their hospitality. From my phone conversation and the company conversation they are not nice. The flight situation was out of our hands and because it was a holiday weekend we couldn’t get a reasonable flight to fly out. I do not recommend this hotel!!!

We do offer more flexible rate plans that allow the hotel and the traveler more options when trips do not go as planned. The discount may not be as steep, but typically offers much more flexibility when these things happen. We understand we may not be your hotel of choice but do hope to host you when your travels return to Houston. We are positive you will enjoy your time with us.

I stayed for five days, but they never cleaned the room, nor did they change the trash cans or towels. No matter how many times I requested it at the front desk, my request was never fulfilled.

Great customer service; staff very attentive and responsive - room amenities met expectations. However, hoped for a small refrigerator to store food and beverages. Overall, great facility - highly recommend!

Very nice hotel. I booked this hotel for my four daughters for 2 nights because they had a concert and it was within walking distance. The only complaint that they had was that they asked the lady serving breakfast a questions about their breakfast coupons and she didnt answer their question and just took their coupons and turns out the coupons were for 2 days and they were embarrassed to ask for another coupon so they didnt get breakfast the second day. The breakfast was delicious.There was also several homeless people across the street, but the valets were outside. Good thing that they were in a large group. Overall the hotel experience was good.I would stay again

Nice Hotel and staffing very nice and helpful. Only complain was there’s was a mild smell coming from the hallway and in the area a lot of homeless people

We had a fantastic time at this property and the staff made all the difference, especially Norton. He always greeted us when we were in the lobby and made us feel like home away from home. There are walkable restaurants near by and a great area by the bar to play pool! We will be back!

This hotel is beautiful and the staff were great! The bed was so comfortable with a good size room and bathroom lighting was good! The roof top has amazing views, although the pool and hot tub were small and shallow. The only downfall is the parking. You can valet for $50 over night or park at a nearby parking garage for $15 for 24 hrs(but once you leave you have to pay again). It was an easy walk from the parking garage to hotel. We staying on the 19th floor and could still clubs music nearby. Not terrible tho!

Staff was welcoming and helpful. Allowed an early check in when we miscalculated travel timings. Wish there was a complementary bottle of water and a variety to the breakfast. There was skittles on the floor of the elevator overnight but overally stay was great!

Great staff. Nice hotel. Any downtown in North America is sketchy but you gotta be aware and proactive. Biggest complaint was country music in pool area on about a 20 song loop.

This hotel has a terrible cancellation policy. Do not book here. They have bad customer service. I had to cancel 5 days before my travel due to unforeseen circumstances and they refused to give my money back. I even notified Expedia and they tried to negotiate on my behalf and they still refused. Very unreasonable as I’m sure it was plenty of time for them to rebook my room.

I showed up a little earlier than expected and the guest services agent checked me before check out, which was much appreciated. The location is perfect! It was close to most of the attractions downtown and within walking distance. I went out at night and there was plenty of nightlife.

it was trip for Robotic World champion competition in convention center, hotel provides free shuttle in 1 mile distance which is great. we booked 3 nights for 3 persons, they only had 1 king bed. we ended up 1 person slept on the floor. Totally understand it was really full on 4/19/2024. but for 2nd night and 3rd night, some students checked out, when we asked for switching a double bed room, they still refused to do that. it was very not friendly hotel. will definitely not come back again.

I checked in at 11:30 p.m. to be told the room type I booked was not available. First, I was given a key to a room that had already been used. Terrible. I was then given keys to a new room, which was also the wrong room type. As many reviews note here, the property is old. That means air conditioning that is incredibly noisy, antiquated lighting, old dated furniture, bars of old school soap for the shower. The staff were very nice and did a great job to address the issues I experienced, but that doesn't make up for a very poor hotel experience. I would not stay here again and would avoid staying here.
