Gorgeous, contemporary 4 bedroom, 3 bath home in a great location! Easy access to 610 and very close to Meyerland plaza, zoned for Bellaire High School. Huge 11,136 sq ft lot! Spacious living room with high ceilings and a cozy fireplace.There's an open kitchen that boasts granite countertops, custom cabinets, and porcelain tile flooring. Relaxing master bedroom offers a beautiful walk in shower. The backyard has an incredible green space perfect for outdoor entertaining.

Very comfortable and well-equipped home. Great location and very clean. I was happy to have my in-laws stay at this home for a few days while they were in town.

Giant roaches and overwhelming air “freshener” but lots of space and good location

We were unable to use the master suite as we arrived to find multiple giant cockroaches (one was the size of a small squirrel) crawling around that bedroom and bathroom and nobody was willing to sleep there. Every morning we found additional dead/dying roaches in various places around the kitchen and dining area (which we kept totally clean). We also arrived to find an overwhelming Glade plug-in smell, which my sister is very sensitive to. She ended up getting a hotel room because even after we took out the air “fresheners” and tried to air out the house (made difficult by the lack of screens on most windows) she was getting headaches from the terrible cheap perfume smell the moment we’d walk in the door. It wasn’t clear whether the owners just LIKE that terrible smell or whether they were trying to cover up something else (fumigation maybe, judging by the daily dying roach collection). Furnishings are the bare minimum. There is no internet (which we knew ahead of time but should be emphasized) so the advertised smart TV is useless. They only provided one towel per bedroom despite knowing that we’d have 7 people. The filters in the fridge need replacing. The air conditioner is extremely loud. Many windows don’t have curtains or have see-through curtains. None do the rooms has blackout curtains if you’re a late sleeper. The freeway is also one house away so you hear traffic all night if you’re a light sleeper. All of that said, the location was excellent for us and we had plenty of space to spread out and eat breakfast and get out of the house before we thought too much about the bugs. Aside from the bugs (and the Glade smell which never went away) it was very clean. We chose not to move because these factors made it slightly more acceptable than any available alternative and as New Yorkers we have a pretty high tolerance for noise and bugs. But we definitely won’t be back.

Spacious, great location

The house was as described. Great location right next to Meyerland Plaza. The house is spacious and had plenty of room for 2 families to share. It was very nice to have 3 full bathrooms. The beds are comfortable. The only suggestions would be to have internet and more seating.

Great VRBO Experience in Texas

The house was in excellent condition, matching the description and pictures from the listing. The house was very spacious with a large open area for the living room, dining room, kitchen, and backyard. The area within the parking gate provided ample space for my guests with two cars. We appreciated the amenities including the washer, dryer, iron and ironing board, dishwashing pods, and towels. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were a perfect size. However, there are a few improvements that would make this house even better. Accessing the lockbox for the house key was a challenge. We ended up calling the host, who answered immediately, to figure out how to open the lockbox. It took us about 2 to 4 minutes to get the key out of the lockbox and figure out how to open the door. The kitchen had almost everything we needed, except for a dishwasher scrubber. Not really a problem since dishwashing pods were provided. But, this would be a nice thing to have when washing smaller dishes quickly. Overall, we had a great experience staying at the house and would highly recommend it to someone visiting Houston, TX. The location is central for downtown Houston, close to the Galleria Mall, and many other areas of attraction. It was a great experience renting from The VRBO host Erica. She made sure that all my questions were answered prior to and during my stay at the house. Thank you very much! Do not think twice about renting this house for your future trip to Houston, TX.

Very helpful host made stay enjoyable

Me and my family were displaced by Hurricane Ida. The host made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. When circumstances called for us to extend our stay an extra week, they were more than understanding and made the process seamless. Would highly recommend this property and the host. My family and I will be forever grateful.

Beautiful neighborhood and very accessible, great house!

We loved how close it is to the Reliant Center and restaurants that we enjoy in Rice University area. House has very open concept with two en-suites and two more nice size bedrooms. Our dog enjoyed the big back yard. I would definitely book here again, if available!

Great Stay in Excellent Location

Overall our stay was wonderful. Very spacious house with plenty of sleeping room. The location is convenient for just about anything you want to do in Houston. The only drawback for me, was no wifi so we had to improvise. Enjoyed our stay!

Description of property was very misleading

When we first got to the property, it was pouring down rain, but we couldn't park under the carport because there was a gate across the driveway. No one bothered to keep the gate open for us to enter nor did they tell us ahead of time that the gate was not attached to a locking mechanism. Therefore, any time we left or came in, someone had to get out of the car to manually open and/or close the gate. The place is very sparsely furnished and the kitchen was totally inadequate for cooking. There is no Wi-Fi and, although there is a television, there are no hook-ups, so it was no operable. The description boasts a large backyard for "entertaining" but there is no patio, patio cover nor any patio furniture. You need to bring anything you may need because there is basically nothing there. We ended up spending time with some friends on the other side of town. This house would be fine for a group of people coming to Houston for a wedding or a reunion as it does have four bedrooms. However, if you are planning on doing anything in the house besides sleeping or using your cellphone, you will be greatly disappointed.

Just outstanding!

This home was beautiful. The area is very upscale and quiet. What a pleasant surprise. It was clean. A minimalist's paradise. The decor was crisp and clean. The Bellaire area is very exclusive. The only drawbacks were no wifi and patio furniture. If yu can bring a chair in a bag. Thanks Erica the stay was great.

Perfect location for a girls trip

We had a great time. The home is spacious, the yard is big and private hoewever there is no outdoor seating, the grass is thick and high cut. It was awesome being in close proximity to shopping centers, the Galleria, freeway, and restaurants. The area felt safe for morning runs and the neighbors were polite. We walked to Target a few times. The kitchen has all the essentials but the pots, pans, and utensils were extremely low quality and a very few. There are no serving dishes just a nice set of dinner wear and glass. The house is minimally decorated and don't think about watching TV or Wifi because they don't exist. There is one TV in the livingroom and no cable. The home is comfortable we enjoyed the natural light however there are no window coverings in the back of the great room which provides zero privacy from the active backyard neighbor's two story home. We liked having two master suites and 3 full bathrooms. All the bathrooms are nicely updated with high countertops, perfect for tall people. Management was extremely responsive. When we arrived they allowed us to check in 2 hours early. On our 2nd day we waited for the maintenance person to fix a bed that was broken prior to our visit. It was very nice of the host to allow us to rent the property for an extra day to accommodate my work schedule. They were very quick in getting back to us when we requested to stay another night. If I had time to shop for home essentials I would love to stay in this home everytime I visited Houston.

No amenities

Sleeps 8, but kitchen set up is only for 6. Not much available if you plan to cook in. We had to unplug at least 4 scented plug-in air fresheners. It was overwhelming. Roaches, and possible animals in the attic. The home does not have WiFi, and the cable from the cable box to the TV was missing. So no Television. The coffee maker power kept turning off, so we could not make a cup. The trash area/parking area had some kind of spill, looked oily. All the extra TP were just used, partial rolls.

Holiday stay

Rented this house for a family visit to Houston for the holidays. Only area that could be improved is if the house could be more decorated, it has the basics which is all we needed, but it made it feel like we just moved in and haven’t unpacked. Part of why we stay in Vrbo places is bc it feels like a home not a hotel. The house is beautiful, in a great neighborhood and close to the galleria. The property manager was great and communicated well. The air conditioner and heater went out on Christmas Day, and it was fixed first thing the next morning which was a Saturday. We would recommend staying here and would choose to stay here again.
