«Our stay was great. Very peaceful. A little more communication about check-in and check-out would have been helpful as there are few staff on site. The breakfast was yummy, which is only available in July and August. The room was clean but smelled a little stale, a little like cigarette smoke when fan wasn’t running. There is no air conditioning.»

«The accommodation was adequate overall, but there were several areas that could be improved. There was no TV in the living room, which meant we had to watch television in the bedroom. The kitchen cabinet doors were difficult to open and close, and the spare toilet paper stored under the sink was stained, suggesting it had been there for quite some time. The pillows were extremely flat, to the point that two pillows barely provided the support of one decent pillow, which made for a less ...

«Wow, I cannot say enough about my wife's and my stay, and it's rare for me to write a review (good or bad) for any property. The host is clearly a student of human behavior and accommodated our needs in unexpected, and most pleasing ways. Breakfast was delightfully tasty and home-cooked by the host, and his recommendations for local restaurants were impeccable. Of course the destination (Friday Harbor) is a no-brainer, but our accommodations were the icing on the cake. My wife and I will ...
