«The property was run down and in terrible condition. Rooms had windows in terrible state of repair allowing insects and lizards in to the room. Bugs in the bed and on the sheets. We received many bites. If it weren’t for the very kind staff member we would have turned around and walked out, even if we had to forfeit the money paid!»

«Had ocean view but no chairs on tiny patio. Upgraded our room but our friends had a way bigger room. Guess upgrade was the tiny balcony. Breakfast buffet was horrible 2 days in a row. Lunch they would not bring food out to pool area and had to go eat Chinese buffet inside. Was silly because the first day they brought out the best chicken fingers I ever had to pool chair. «Get the ocean view room. Staff works hard be kind and tip. Make sure pool renovation is complete, was not able to enjoy. Included breakfast was limited but gets u on your way! Casino - we don’t gamble. Stayed here after 5 days in San Ignacio doing adventure tours. Good location- taxis always waiting, tried different restaurants, did tuk tuk ride, local regatta and canoe annual festivals. Minutes from airport. Ferry nearby but water too rough so we skipped the cayes. »

«This was our last stop before the airport in the morning. The location was ideal for that. Dinner was fine but it took a very, very long time, even long in Belize time. The pictures of the pool online look nice but it was full of screaming kids, which is what it is, but just an FYI it was very busy by the pool. The AC really struggled and we had no hot water. We had been traveling for a month so I was a little used to lack of hot water at times by now. Yes, the shuttle was a little pricey but ...
