«Lots of bugs inside and out. On the river so you have to get a boat ride and taxi to get places and it’s 10 or $15 USD each way. Not a convenient location unless you bring your own food, all the bug spray, don’t leave luggage open, don’t mind stinky dogs in your step and don’t plan to explore anywhere but there. Beds, bathrooms and kitchen did seem clean and the staff were friendly.»

«Absolutely enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close to the airport. The room was spotless, and the appliances and amenities were really nice and well kept.
Godfrey and his stepson were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond during our stay. They were very welcoming, and Godfrey even gave me a ride back to the airport, which I really appreciated!

«From the moment you enter the hotel, you’re greeted by a strong odor of greasy fried food and Pine-Sol. The smell is present on every floor and is extremely overwhelming.
The rooms also do not look like the pictures shown on the website. On some nights, the entire front lobby was completely dark, as there was no staff available after around 11:00 p.m.

«This was such a lovely stay! My partner and I stayed here for the carnival weekend and would definitely do it again. The location is perfect, you can easily walk into downtown if you like and that morning sea view is amazing!
Breakfast was always very nice and we even got Belizean fried Jacks on Sunday. Rooms were comfy and the host was the kindest lady and very helpful with suggestions. There is parking available on the property so if you are driving it is very convenient.»
