"Despite to dumpy and sketchy look from the outside and entry, the room was surprisingly adequate. Clean, nice shower, refrig, tv, wifi, comfortable bed and warm. Very quiet too. A pool and hit tub and breakfast across the street we're good. This is a budget motel, so don't expect 5 star anything. If you only need a nice room at an affordable price, this can work."

We partook in the (free!) s’mores kits by a roaring fire outside, enjoyed a breakfast basket in the morning served with a Stanley thermos full of delicious coffee, and in general loved lake placid. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat! "

"Our stay over Memorial Day weekend was excellent. The house suited our family more than adequately and the boys loved they all could move around easily, and of course the hot tub for after our mountain hikes. Location is great, close to everything, as well as hiking trails and has sidewalks. Everything was great, thank you!"
