«The staff was concerned with us getting there before 8pm. We hurried to get there and did not stop for dinner. We arrived to check in at 5pm and the staff seemed eager to show us our rental and get out of there (we were the last and maybe only ones to check in that day).
There was a living room but there were beds in it. The shower was challenging to figure out how to use. It had two handles (neither were marked) which seemed to produce cold water no matter how I turned the handles! On the ...

«Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Fridge/freezer was much larger than the under counter units in bigger chain hotels. There was even a washer/ dryer. Better than an Extended Stay in that regard.
Hotel manager was easily accessible by phone to answer questions and deal with a complicated booking situation. Got it resolved quickly and extremely favorably.

«Wonderful staff! Very close to the airport, downtown, and stadium. Room was clean. If you are traveling with anyone who has mobility issues, some rooms are located far from the lobby. There are no stairs for rooms on the upper level.
We could hear people outside of our room passing by and talking and going up the stairs with their luggage. Hard to fall asleep with the noise. »

«This property was wonderful. It was high above the town with great views of the town and ocean. It had a distinctive modern architectural style and an authentic comfortable feel. Our room was clean and well stocked. It was spacious and we had an outside balcony. There was also a beautiful garden and a large shared living room with a pool table. «Vi sov tre netter i en av de koselige hyttene ved Kulaniapia Falls. De ansatte var hyggelige, fasilitetene gode og tomten fantastisk. Det var veldig deilig å kunne lage sin egen mat på kjøkkenet og slappe av med sjøutsikt i låven, og muligheten til et forfriskende bad i elven og ved fossen like ved. «The property grounds were beautiful and serene. We were so happy we chose this place outside the hustle and bustle of Hilo. The trip into Hilo was about 20 minutes, but the drive was beautiful and worth the peacefulness of the property. There were many sites to see within a few miles, such as Akaka falls and the Botanical Gardens.»

«This is a very nice lodge with a great history. The room was spacious and we really enjoyed the hot tub and the nature trail. My only complaint is with the people in the room beneath us as we heard them talking well past the quiet hour of 10:00 pm. As the inn has no night manager, I was required to deal with it myself by talking to them directly. Not sure if the insulation between the rooms is adequate. We did hear other neighbors as well but they respected the quiet hours. »
