«The location is great and the property is very nice, green, lots of outdoor chairs etc. The breakfast was better than standard motel fare. The only downside is the really small one bathroom (with no sink outside) even for a two room unit or units where four people are allowed. However that is specified in the listing so its not a surprise. You'll have to plan bathroom usage. Otherwise its a great place - nearby to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor.»

«The setting is beautiful but our lodge was very close to other lodges so we had limited privacy and could hear other guests talking or coughing or walking by. We were a bit disappointed in the quality of the restaurant too. It’s like a cafeteria with some upscale options. Our bed was very comfortable and we really appreciated the wood stove.»

«This was a very nice, clean, and well-lit inn with a charming, nostalgic feel. The room was well equipped with a kitchen and enough pans to easily prepare breakfast, and while the bed was a bit too soft for my preference, the bathroom was spotless and overall comfortable. Keep in mind there is no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage to the third floor can be a bit of a trek, but they provide coffee and delicious fresh pumpkin and blueberry loaf in the morning. «Chris the manager was terrific and staff were great. «Our room was clean and well maintained. The walk to downtown Bar Harbor was less than a half mile, and eliminated the need to pay for parking. It was approximately a 10-minute drive to the entrance of Acadia. Joy was very helpful, I’d certainly stay again for our next visit.»

«The Inn is located by several bike shops and close to the entrance of the Acadia carriage roads. We were able to get a bike rental the day of at Bar Harbor Bike Rentals.
The front staff were very helpful in suggesting where to eat and let us use some warmer jackets they keep for guests for our Whale Watch excursion.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a gas station and grocery store right by the Inn. There’s also a good breakfast spot, pizza place, and Atlantic Brewery ...
