Truly a taste of heaven on earth, the Left Wing is a one of a kind respite appointed for maximum comfort and deep relaxation, named for its unique architecture. Designed by Carolyn Jones, a protege of internationally renowned architects Fay Jones and Frank Lloyd Wright, the beautiful home has been renovated, meticulously landscaped and is temporarily open for guests to enjoy. The upper level can accommodate 8 persons in 5 beds, depending on arrangements. Lower level is owners locker, unoccupied during rentals and no longer available for rentals.

There are 2 digital and HDMI TVs on the main level (Living room and master bedroom). Guests stream from their own laptops elsewhere.

Private and secure yet convenient to all area amenities, this unique and highly rated property is a mountain ridge contemporary 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with description-defying panoramic views, large furnished, outdoor hot tub, indoor jacuzzi and showers, waterfall, two room fireplace, granite countertops, hardwood floors, carpeted bedrooms, DVD player and every appliance you might possibly need. Bedrooms are one King, two queens and 2 twins all on the main floor, with 3 bathrooms and plenty of linens, dishes, amenities for 8-12.

This retreat is located on 3/4 acre of walkable mountain ridge property. Paths have been created along the spectacular rock outcrops, landscaped and maintained for the enjoyment of our guests. Routine maintenance and treatment keep our paths relatively clear of Natural State insects, nonetheless use common sense and insect repellant when venturing anywhere off the main trails, whether hiking or golfing in Arkansas! Chiggers and ticks are virile and will torment their favorite humanoids for days once they catch a ride on you in the peak summer season.

From Thanksgiving through New Years, the home is fully lit and decorated for Christmas and Hanukkah if desired. Persons of all faiths and ethnicities are welcome at all times. Festively decorated for the holidays, and a delight for children as well as adults, be sure to let us know of special needs or requests. Our home is a special place created with love to facilitate your own celebration with loved ones.

The home features an open floor plan with LR, dining with table for 8 (expanders under waterfall room bed) , exotic granite countertop bar under modern lights with four comfortable swivel high top chairs, a Jenn Aire range and an indoor Jenn Aire double grill on island. Microwave, toaster, pantry, fully furnished with blender, food processor, electric wok, coffee press, hand mixer, rice maker, crockpot, ironing board and iron and on..Washer/dryer, dishwasher, TWO televisions (1 in living room, 1 in MBR), stereo system, and board games. Bed linens and towels for 8, complimentary shampoo/creme rinse/bath gel/soap and occasional salts.

Each bedroom has its own unique personality and feature.

The King Master BR features a sliding glass door onto a small deck with a hot tub that comfortably seats 4 and lusciously reclines two for star-gazing or early morning sunrise and bird watching. It is appointed with a reading lamp and leather recliner, two nightstands, recessed reading lights, a wall mounted digital Sony TV, and walk in closet.

The Queen BR is located in the Fireplace Room, and features a large walk in closet, desk, bookshelf and two chairs. It shares a full bath and a half with the Master BR. Each well lit windowed and ventilated bathroom has a private commode, sink, mirrors, blow dryers and cabinets. They share access to a jetted jacuzzi tub and a full size 2 person walk in shower with bench, sliding doors and dual shower heads with handheld, , a la Jack and Jill style.

The Asian Waterfall bedroom features a second queen sized bed, nightstands, lamps, full dresser, oriental linen chest, and small closet. It enjoys a private bathroom with enclosed shower. The Waterfall room and bath are nestled on the quiet north side of the home, with screened windows that can be opened to take in the delightful sound of the waterfall, accompanied on summer nights by a symphony of tree and bullfrogs. In winter it offers a beautiful view of glorious mosses and lichen on quartz-veined boulders. The waterfall is controlled by its own powers switch off the deck by the fall.

At the end of the hall, 3 steps down and with its own exterior door to a courtyard area, is the Asian Twin room or Bunkhouse, currently appointed with a shared nightstand, cabinets and large etagere/bookcase and two comfortable twin beds best suited for singles, young adults or older children. It is baseboard heated with its own thermostat, has a floor fan as well as an overhead fan, and can be additionally cooled on hot summer nights by keeping the west blinds closed and the indoor door slightly ajar. The central air register is at the bottom of the three steps in the hallway.

Housekeeping can be arranged during weekly visits for an additional fee. The phone number to arrange for floors, general housework or even entertainment assistance is in the User Manual.

Two twin and one queen air mattress, along with linens/pillows can be made available to assist you in accommodating young children. Guests are responsible for setting up (pump provided) and packing up the air mattresses as they best suit your needs and groups. Advance notice, 72 hours prior to arrival is required.

This wonderful home is available for vacation rentals of 3 day minimums and with assistance from guests with the heavy towels, can accommodate same day flips. We completely drain the hot tub after every rental and all bed linens are removed and laundered, so please leave them for us as they are. Additional per night per person charges apply to groups over 4 or 6 depending on the season. Inquire about discounted rates for 2-4 weeks stays.

Unfortunately, after several bad experiences with guests who did not appropriately kennel or manage their dogs, misrepresented their dog's size or training, moved furniture and wool carpeting and pads to the garage and outdoors, etc., failed to pick up litter, etc. we can no longer allow pets, so very sorry. It is very sad for us, too! We love pets and are disappointed to be unable to accommodate them anymore. :(

Nature watchers have reported deer, bobcat, wild turkeys, chipmunks, road runners, coyotes, hawks, eagles and myriad songbirds. Hummers are prolific and highly entertaining during the summer when guests keep feeders filled with clean sugar water, which is generally pre-made and stored in the refrigerator. Sugar is supplied for guests to refresh on their own if they would like. They will be highly rewarded by scores of birds and hours of entertainment!

Hot Springs Village is a delightful golfing, fishing, hiking, boating and crystal mining retreat one hour west of Little Rock. Activity information including trail maps can be found on the HSVPOA.org website, as well as in a tourist information basket in the living room. The Left Wing is 35 minutes from the Hot Springs bathhouses and Oaklawn Racetrack (via Danville Gate) and 35 minutes from the Coleman Crystal mines in Jessieville off Route 7, 45 minutes from the Miller Mountain mines (via the West Gate). We are no more than 15 minutes from any golf course in the Village.
