Lakefront Cottage with Kayaks and Private Pier

Start the morning with coffee on the back deck at The Cottage or on your own private pier on Lake Catherine. This one-bedroom, 1.5-bath cabin sits on Cape Catherine, a private peninsula, and the pier is just for Cottage guests, with water under it even in winter. Take a kayak or paddleboard out (shared with the other Cape Catherine guests), then come back to watch the sunset from the deck. It sleeps up to two and is made for couples and solo travelers, and your dog is welcome too ($75 per pet).

Much love, respect, and work has gone into creating The Chalet at Cape Catherine to be appreciated by family gatherings and groups wanting to bond and enjoy Lake Catherine for its beauty, adventure and peacefulness in a clean, well-cared for home. Outdoor security cameras with views of the entrances and exits have been installed. They are only monitored if neighbors inform us of excessive noise (past quiet hours) or parties occurring. We value and respect the privacy of our guests.

Guest Access:
Cape Catherine is a private peninsula on Lake Catherine. The peninsula is home to 3 houses; The Big House, The Chalet and The Cottage, and an RV called the Bluebird of Happiness. You will be sharing the peninsula with guests in the other two houses. However, you will be the only one to have access to The Cottage. The Cottage is not shared with anyone.

Cape Catherine is a private peninsula located in a quiet residencial area with 3 houses, an RV, 3 different docks and plenty of outdoor fun.

- 20 min to Hot Springs Airport
- 12 min to Oaklawn Racing and Gaming Casino
- 15 min to Downtown Hot Springs/ Bathhouse Row
- 10 min to Garvan Woodland Gardens
- 20 min to Magic Springs Amusement Park
- 1 hr. to Little Rock, AR

Other Things to Note:
Important: Important: Before you arrive, I'll send a link by email or text for a quick guest verification through my property management software. It helps me keep up with short-term rental regulations and gives guests and homes a little extra protection. If you finish it before you arrive, check-in is quick and easy. Maximum Occupancy is 2.

Guests must be 25 or older to book. This home isn't set up for parties. My neighbors live here year-round, so I ask everyone to keep noise down after quiet hours and to respect their right to quiet enjoyment.

The lake, dock, kayaks, and paddleboards are yours to enjoy. Please use them and swim at your own risk, since I cannot be responsible for injuries.

Entergy lowers the lake each winter for shoreline maintenance and lake health. From mid-November to mid-March, there is no water on the west side of the peninsula and shallow water on the east side.

Once you're booked, I'm a call or text away if you have any questions. I also have a handyman on call if something comes up that I cannot resolve by phone or text.
