Lake Hamilton Cottage - Amazing Views!

The Cottage:

Updated cottage on Lake Hamilton! The Crow's Nest Cottage has been completely remodeled and updated and contains brand new furnishings. The attention to detail is spectacular and rivaled only by the lake views, outdoor spaces and amenities. The cottage has a new private covered boat slip and swim dock and the resort contains a pool for use by owners and guests and an additional swim dock on the lake.

The Resort:

The Crow's Nest Cottage is located in Kleinshore Resort, which is one of the most unique spots on Lake Hamilton. It is conveniently located off Highway 70 and contains a small number of private homes which have been remodeled and that have amazing lake views. Guests have access to the private home, boat slip and swim dock, Kleinshore Resort swim dock, and Kleinshore Resort swimming pool behind the house. There is one parking space located immediately in front of the home, guest parking spaces throughout the resort, and a large private parking area for other vehicles or trailers at the entrance to the resort. The Crow's Nest Cottage is 5-10 minutes from historic downtown Hot Springs and Bathouse Row and 5-10 minutes from Oaklawn Racing Casino.

Property is nice and clean

We had a good time at the property. But the checkin process was clunky, for example, no front door key code or check in process ahead of time and no cleaning until calling the host. They were quickly fixed but that made me wonder what happened to all the automated processes that Vrbo is supposed to provide to travelers and the host. I will take that into account for future bookings.

Absolutely perfect!

This was a weekend my husband and I wanted to share with our adult daughters and it was simply perfect!! The house is so warm and inviting with comfortable bedding, TVs in every bedroom and a deck with fire pit for long conversations with a glass of wine. Corn hole was a good addition. Host has made sure everything is taken care of for your stay. Hot springs is 10 minutes away with plenty of things to do for every age. I would highly recommend Garven Gardens about a 15 minute drive away and is beautiful with a glass chapel that has been featured in lots of magazines. I can’t say enough about this place! We can’t wait to come back!!

Our stay

House was beautiful and very cozy. I didn’t receive instructions to enter the house but when I called I got an immediate response. Only issue was 2 of the ceiling fans didn’t work. The main one in the living room didn’t work at all and the 2nd master fan only worked if the light was on. We just dealt with it as it couldn’t be fixed before we left. Would definitely stay again if the fans were working.

Great location

Loved the home & the location. Our reason for 4 stars over 5 had to do with communication. The check in details were not loaded into the app or shared with us until we reached out for them. The electric lock also had its battery run out while we were gone. We finally were able to get a key from a lock box, but this was after a lot of texting. The property contract would never answer when I called. Only txt or message through the app. This took much longer to get an answer or solution to the problem. Wonderful home if these issues had not Came up it would have been 5 stars for sure. Still highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Lakeside Cottage

This cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean. The views of the lake are stunning from every level. The owners have really gone above and beyond to make this cottage fully loaded with amenities. Would highly recommend this VRBO. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Lake house was gorgeous

This property is breath taking. The design of the house and view was amazing. The quiet community and pool made it a great spot to get away with our children. A short 10 minute drive to downtown. Food trucks on airport road were excellent! Everything was very clean and property manager was so timely. We would love to come back here!

Perfect lake house!!

The house is beautiful and stocked with everything you may need! It is in a quiet little community close to everything. The view in the back is to die for!! We spent a lot of time out there watching the boats go by and playing corn hole. We rented a boat one day and we’re able to pull it right up to the house to go in for lunch/take a little break. The community pool could use a little work but the water was clean, felt great and was never crowded. The master bed was sooooo comfortable. The master and kitchen are lacking in some storage (no dresser or empty cabinets for groceries) but was fine for our short stay. We would absolutely stay here again… we have a bunch of friends interested in the property after seeing the pictures from our trip :) The owner was easy to get in touch with and answered all of our questions promptly. I definitely recommend this house!!

The lake house was amazing!

The lake house was perfect for a relaxing getaway! We enjoyed the convenience of the dock on the lake so the kids could fish, grill and seating area for a relaxing evening! We will definitely be booking this again!! House was decorated awesome as well!

Nice house on the lake

I wouldn't say it's a great value for the money. In addition to the rental and all other fees, at the end of the check-out process, the purchase of damage insurance is required. We discovered coffee, dish towels and dish soap are included in the amenities. Parking for your auto is very good.
