Beachfront Seaside Escape Beach House

Seaside Escape Beach house is located in a residential area in the beautiful Garifuna fishing village of Hopkins. This beach front property is nestled between light thickets of red mangroves that provide natural privacy when lounging on the beach. The large veranda is ideal for morning coffee and a Caribbean sunrise.

The master bedroom is spacious with large french doors facing the sea for that outdoor feeling. Both Bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom for your convenience. The kitchen and dining area are tastefully decorated with hardwood furniture. The open concept of the living and dining area creates a light and airy ambiance that truly mirrors Caribbean life.

The property was in a great location in south Hopkins. We enjoyed being right on the water, where we were able to use their kayaks. We took out the bicycles a couple of times and appreciated having them available. It felt secluded with the trees and foliage between this property and the ones on either side of it.The place was really clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom attached. It didn't feel great when my brother, who lives locally, stopped by and was on the beach with us to practice a song for his birthday party that night and we immediately got several mesages from the manager saying that their cameras detected a stranger and he needed to leave immediately. In hind sight I should have cleared it with them first, but I didn't think it would be an issue since he was not going inside but just near the water. Either way, it felt like they were watching us the whole time.The wifi wasn't working when we got there and I sent a message, they replied the next day and gave us a new password. We notified them on Sunday morning that the water heater wasn't working. It was later that day when they responded and sent someone out the next day. We appreciated that they gave us a 25% refund for a couple of days of our stay.I would recommend staying there if you don't have other people that you want to get together with, as they are very strict on anyone else stopping by.

Hopkins

The home was comfortable and spacious. The location would have been great if it were not for the smell of rotten eggs that permeated the 2nd bedroom and the outdoors. We understood that it was because of the marsh on both sides and decomposing seagrass but it made the outside unusable and the stay in the second bedroom miserable. We are not sure if it is a seasonal occurrence or an all the time thing.

A perfect stay.

We loved this house! We really can't say enough. The house is spacious, well equipped, stunning beach views, very comfortable, and also, quiet. We didn't have to worry about a thing from checking in to checking out. We will absolutely stay again!

Fantastic Location & View

We loved this house! We were directly on the beach and woke up every day listening to the waves roll in.The house design was perfect for our family of 4 and the included amenities were great.We loved the property and had a great stay, we would go back again!!

Secluded Get Away with Caribbean Waves

We were welcomed by appealing wood floors and wood ceiling. The property is surprisingly roomy with a large well-equipped kitchen (need more dish cloths) and laundry room (bring your own pods).Plenty of towels for bathrooms and beach. Lighting is dim but 4 air conditioners are strong, speedy cool and individually controlled. Loved the laundry room though off the smaller bedroom. Two different doors to the conveniently screened porch overlooking what is essentially a private, secluded beach. We caught great sunrises and the moon over the water was beautiful. The sound of the ocean right there is fantastic. Four bikes, two kayaks and life vests plus grill means you can enjoy being at "home" and having a little fun, as well. We didn’t use the bikes but enjoyed the kayaks as a first time adventure. The water is quite shallow for a ways out so no worries for non-swimmers. If you want a great dinner head toward town and Peers place for phenomenal pork chops or Ella's Coolspot for Garifuna Hudut (look it up).We had a car but we saw folks in golf carts. People are friendly. Grocery store about 15 minutes away. Communication which involved a question after leaving shows integrity. All in all, an exceptional value for the money.

Enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Mirko was very helpful with setting up an excursion, and we appreciated the mid-week visit by the hospitality team. It was wonderful to have the screened in porch area as we were getting rain most evenings and various biting bugs were active (everywhere, not just at the house). We also appreciated good screens on the windows so that we were able to have windows open when we didn't want to use the AC. Only very minor criticism is that there were no hair dryers although listing states that they are provided - just would have brought one if I'd known.

Wonderful Beach house

Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Nice house with private sandy backyard which our toddler loved digging in and swimming at. House was cleaning and everything worked well. Definitely would recommend.

2 weeks in paradise

We had an amazing time! The amenities and close proximity to town created an atmosphere which felt like our own home away from home. The grounds are well maintained, the appliances and (especially) air conditioners made it easy and comfortable to really make this home. The ocean view stunning as we watched the sunrise from the screened in porch listen king to tropical birds sing their morning songs, while we enjoyed our coffee. The ocean itself warm and inviting was clear allowing us to see many of the native fish, including numerous star fish as we snorkeled right off the property. The host was easy to contact and anticipated our needs, even helping us book some excursions. We WILL return as this is as close to paradise as we’ve been and we’ve been a lot of places.

Well managed

Our stay at the Beachfront Seaside Escape Beach House was comfortable, stress-free, and beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the home. The host was prompt and helpful to any questions we had. We also arranged snorkeling and caving tours through the host and were very happy with them. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Hopkins area beachfront property

Large rooms, great porch area with fantastic views, nice backyard for relaxing and watching the sea. Fans and air conditioning were welcome in the warm humid climate. Bikes and kayaks a bonus though the water was a bit choppy to use kayaks much. Able to swim but have to walk out a bit, A few jelly fish showed up but not many

Awesome secluded house on the ocean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during our week in Belize! The house was very clean and had plenty of room for the four of us. Great views and access to the ocean with a very private and cozy sand area to hang out. Loved it and would rent again when we're back in the country!

Beautiful and Peaceful

We arrived easily and entered the lovely spacious house! It felt like home right away and had all the amenities we needed for our visit! The layout is perfect for two couples. We especially appreciated the bikes. The morning sunrises were lovely end evening star gazing was a highlight as well. Our last morning I kayaked out to three curious manatees. Nearby, we enjoyed the Curve Bar and marine on the Sitee River. The charcoal grill worked well for the fish we caught. The only disappointment was that the kayaks were river kayaks ( not too stable) rather than ocean kayaks in addition the iron security doors were rusting out and leaving a few shards in the places we entered and exited the house at the back. All in all this was an excellent place to stay at Hopkins Beach!!

Absolute dream

The home was spectacular! Very clean, with plenty of items available for use. W/D capabilities were amazing, especially with an infant that requires constant changing! We enjoyed having our own private beach space to relax. Manager was very responsive to whatever we needed. I highly recommend staying at this property!

Quiet location

We enjoyed our stay at this nice beach house. It was our second time in Hopkins and the first time we stayed right in the village. We had a rental car so it wasn’t an issue that we were on the south end (although bikes or golf carts would have been fine, too).The house was clean, had a/c and allowed us to relax while enjoying the ocean views. It was nice being able to do our laundry, too! Mirko was great in answering all of our questions and was quick to respond! We will definitely stay at one of these properties again as we always have a good experience!
