***Cushman is a recreational area of owner lots. Although the community properties are generously sized and treed, there are neighboring lots with structures. Cabin is not located on a totally secluded vacation lot however, is remote enough to be very quiet and peaceful. Deer often wander through the yard.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES:
There are 2 boat launches within the immediate Mt Rose Village community.
#1 boat launch is less than a 1 min drive from cabin and it offers Parking, Picnic Tables and Bathroom. This is a shore launch for boats (no dock).
#2 boat launch is a 5 min drive from from cabin and offers a family park with amenities such as Restrooms w/Showers, Swimming Area, Boat Dock, Covered Gazebo, Picnic Tables, Children’s Play Area, Horseshoe Pit and Lake Fishing.

AREA:
The Staircase Region of the Olympic National Park is an ancient forest located in the southeastern corner not far from the cabin.

The Big Creek Campground Hiking Trails are about 10 minutes away and offer winding trails and along the river and through the Olympic National Forest. There is an upper and lower loop with differing challenge levels for hikers.

Also located nearby is the Skokomish River, Mt. Rose, Mt. Ellinor to name a few of the fabulous recreational areas.

The Lake Cushman community has 2 lakes - Lake Cushman & Lake Kokanee. Both are surrounded by beautiful picture worthy scenery and the peacefulness of a small quiet community.

Lake Cushman is accessible from the recreational division where the cabin is located. It is a large lake that where you can enjoy Boating, Jet Skis, Kayaking, Canoeing, Fishing and Paddle Boarding. Amenities are a Playground with a Swim Area, Gazebo, Picnic Tables, Boat Dock and much more.

Lake Kokanee is a no wake lake located 15 minutes from the cabin. You can enjoy Kayaking, Canoeing, Paddle Boarding, and Fishing with small trolling motors only (no large boats allowed). The park offers Restrooms w/Showers, Swimming Area, Boat Ramp and Dock, Covered Gazebo, Picnic Tables, Children’s Play Area, and a Fishing Dock.

Due to the remoteness of the area, cell phones must be connected to the cabin’s wireless high-speed internet to receive/send communications.

Use of Community Parks, Swimming Beaches and Boat Launches is limited to homeowners & guests and requires a pass for entry. We provide 1 Vehicle Guest Pass and maps of local parks and their amenities that is valid for the length of guest stay.

POLICIES
-Nightly rental price is based on 4 person occupancy. Additional guest fee is $25 per guest/night and will be applied when making reservations. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. A queen hide-a-bed sofa sleeping arrangement is available for the additional 2 guests to share
- Parking of Campers, RV's, and Travel Trailers as additional guest living quarters is NOT authorized per HOA rules
- No events, parties or large gatherings without Owner consent
-PETS: We welcome dogs that are well behaved and potty trained. Pet fee is payable when reservation is made. We can accommodate up to 2 dogs. Please DO NOT allow your pets on the furniture and do pick up after them. Pets must be on leash when outside. A mid-sized folding dog crate is available for guest use.
-Smoking is NOT permitted in the house or on the property. Guests may smoke at street and must collect cigarette butts to avoid a littering fee of $50
- Must adhere to Mason County burn restrictions
- No bonfires. An attended recreational campfire is allowed in the fire ring only, unless there is a county burn ban
- No fireworks
- Must be at least 23 years old to book
- Photo ID may be required upon check-in
-Due to the remoteness of area, the communities vacation properties are monitored by security personnel. The cabins access doors have external security cameras to protect against crimes when vacant.
