9 of us, friends for years, made our yearly November weekend together at this house. Mealtimes are always big for us so the big table was wonderful with lots of space to move around. The kitchen might look small but very usable and had most items needed. You might need to look around to find what you are looking for including the second kitchen downstairs. Good space, light, room size and bathrooms. People loved the coffee in the bedrooms. There are a couple of high beds that could be a struggle for shorter people, step stools definitely needed. As stated in house information the stairs don't have railing, but with where the walls are etc. we were able to navigate them. The early morning views of deer and mink were a highlight. The Bonny was wonderful, quick to respond and very helpful. All the outside spaces etc look inviting for summertime fun. If you need a lot of space this is the place.

Home away from home
Very spacious and comfortable home. Great host. Where modern meets rustic. Pefect for Easter getaway with our family. The property allowed us to be together or have quiet time alone. Enjoyed the grill and nice sitting areas outside.

Wow! Amazing property and facilities
This home was so fantastic. 10 Adults and a baby with plenty of space. We had a blast. All of us ate dinner together and played games and pool. We went in Hot tub and had fires indoor and out. Bonnie was so helpful and there were so many like thoughtful extras. I recomendable this place so very much.

Family ski trip
Bonny is a fabulous host. She anticipated any needs we might have and was readily available for any questions. The house was well stocked and absolutely beautiful. It fit our group of 12 very comfortably and could have easily had room for more. We would all love to return for another ski trip next year, but the house seems perfect for a summer getaway as well. Perfect Getaway!
We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home in the woods! We watched the deer each morning and enjoyed the hot tub every night. There were 8 of us (4 parents and 4 teenage kids) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids could stay up late on the lower level without disturbing the grown-ups on the first and second levels. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, and there was plenty of dining space. We liked how close we were to the town and other attractions. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would love to come back to this home to enjoy the area in the summer!

Amazing family vacation home!

Three Generations July 2022
This house was excellent for our family of 10. We had plenty of very comfortable space indoors and out by the pool / hot tub and pavilion. (equiped with an outside tv ) The outside kitchen / grill area was very convenient. We had the 2 grandparents in the bedroom on the main floor, the 4 parents upstairs (one bedroom was used as a quiet office space when needed) and the 4 grandchildren had the whole basement. Bonny our host was very responsive although we did not have any issues during the week. She left snack baskets on each floor. There were multiple refrigerators for our use and each bedroom had a smaller refrigerator and Keurig area. It was a true space of rest and relaxation . Great place.

Heaven indeed!
This property had everything a group could need from chef’s kitchen appliances to outdoor accommodations with pool floats, corn hole, Jenga and a fire pit. We enjoyed the poker table, billiards, and the outdoor hammocks as well as the heated pool and hot tub. All linens were provided and the house was very clean. The owner was very accommodating to every request.

Great retreat
We had a great time and Bonny was a gracious host. She was responsive to questions and took us on a tour upon our arrival. The house is secluded in the woods with a large comfortable outdoor pool area. There are several suites where couples or families can have privacy but still plenty of common areas for activities. Excellent poconos getaway
Came up here with some other friends for the 4th. This house is clean, comfortable, with a great pool and hottub, excellent kitchen facilities to cook for a big group, and lots of place for the entire group or smaller groups to hang out. Couldn't have been happier to call this place home for a weekend!

Wonderful stay!
This is a spacious, beautiful, private place in the woods. The pool was warmed to a perfect temperature (which was great because the outdoor temperature wasn't particularly hot during our stay). The hot tub was excellent too. The home itself is rustic and charming, yet also filled with amenities. It has a pool table, hammocks, board games, many televisions (with Roku and Direct TV), multiple grills, multiple coffee machines, multiple dishwashers, multiple washer/dryers, etc. The owner, Bonny, gave us our privacy, but was also helpful and attentive when we needed her. Great stay!

Beautiful Property
Amazing stay here. Inside and outside were both very well arranged with games and other fun surprises in each room. The property had everything we could ask for and more. The outdoor area was spectacular with a beautiful pool, tub and hangout area. Bonny the host was great! She was extremely communicative and helpful. Would highly recommend!

AMAZING, PERFECT - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Bonny's place was absolutely fantastic!! We were only a family of four, but easily could have had another family join us because of the size and layout of the house. The house was very clean and spacious, extremely comfortable and there was plenty to do, both inside (games, pool table, fireplace, etc.) and outside (hammock, playhouse, firepit, etc.) Bonny was a great host who accommodated our check-in request and offered some great local suggestions. We only stayed a few nights, but it was an AMAZING trip and hopefully we'll be able come back to enjoy the pool.

Clean, well-equipped and cozy property! Great experience!
The property was clean and well maintained! For a group of 4 adults and 4 children (ages between 4 and 7) this property was spacious...in fact could have easily accommodated another 1 or 2 more families! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, hammock, playhouse, pool table, basement bar area, smart TVs, kitchen and grill! The hospitality of the host (Bonny) was commendable and she was reachable anytime to help out with our queries! Looking forward to staying here again maybe during summer time to enjoy the pool as well! We highly recommend the property as well as thank Bonny (host) for the great experience!

Beautiful, clean and spacious home with lots of charm and coziness!
We were lucky enough to land Bonny’s property for a quick, last minute ski trip to Elk. The home is gorgeous, serene and lovingly cared for. And it’s situated on Heaven Lane, which is quite fitting for the setting. There’s plenty of space to spread out (we were a party of 8 with 4 adults and 4 kids) and great little cozy nooks throughout the property. We found the home to be very clean, well stocked with coffee stations and snacks throughout, and the hot tub after a day on the slopes was divine. Bonny was pleasant, super easy to work with, and truly cares about ensuring you enjoy your stay. We highly recommend this property and look forward to a return visit!

Very Comfortable
My family came together fir the weekend to go skiing. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out or hang together. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace, the grill, the games and especially the deer. It was such a homey feeling being here and we had everything we needed to cook in. Wow! Better than could've imagined!
The photos don't do this property justice. My friends and I had a weekend reunion here, and we are already hoping to go back. We visited in mid-October, and the leaves were gorgeous, gently falling all around the secluded property. We felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. The pool was obviously closed but we loved the hot tub and the outdoor firepit, TV, and yard games. Inside, Bonny thought this place out with a mini fridge and coffee maker in every room, so I could see it being great for bridal parties or groups who don't know each other super well. No shortage of bathrooms, which was also great. There's a long dining table (which we found a lot of places lacked), so we were able to have a wonderful meal together. There's seriously so much space. We only left the property for a relaxing walk to a nearby waterfall. And our only regret was not staying longer. Thank you so much, Bonny!!

Highly recommend
This house is a first class experience nestled deep in the woods and was perfect for our golf getaway in the poconos. Every room had its own theme and classically decorated. The pool/hot tub area Was perfect for late afternoon bbq’s and the evenings were really unforgettable under the stars. Bonny was engaging and easy going. This house is worth the price. I will be going back guaranteed.

Not a good property for families with young children. House has a lot of breakable antiques in easy reach. Pool is great and so is outside area. The lower level of the house had a noticeable mildew smell and NO air conditioning only one small fan. Very warm in the lower level bedrooms.

I'm very sorry that my customer felt this way about my home. This is the first three star review I have ever received. There were plenty of questions going on back-and-forth about this home from the customer. Pictures were even sent of the steps in the home because that was questionable. Every day I received a phone call asking for something, like the 85 degree pool to be turned up, and a few other things throughout the day. The lower level I'm not sure what to say about that except for it's on the lower level? (Hold a good temperature of never over 72° ) There was an issue with one of the doors that was inspected by myself because I would not leave my home unlocked and I check everything before the next customer arrives for safety reasons. The door lock was broken and that is an issue so I had it repaired. Of course it came out the security, and in the long run the lock was not fixable anyway. It was around $160 for the repair which was not satisfying to the customer Because it was taken from the security, therefore I had to replace the whole lock that was $500.. I really thought that's what The security deposit was all about to protect the home owner. Because the customer was dissatisfied with the broken lock which was not mentioned during the whole entire stay. I guess for that reason is why I was given a three star. As you look through all my reviews you can see that I have very very happy customers and a lot of repeat customers as well. I am sorry that this has to be on my feed for I'm not sure what I have done wrong. Sincerely, Bonny Stinnard

Heaven is an Understatement!
If you are looking for peace, serenity, an escape, and absolute beauty this is for you. I decided to rent this place out to get away for some much needed disconnect time, and it was perfect. The house is very secluded with loads of trees around it. The place is huge, pristine and beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you will need. Bonnie leaves snacks for the guests, and there is coffee in every room, all the bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and you can find small things like Q-Tips and Bandages as well. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and my boyfriend and I chose to cook every day. Even if you wanted entertainment there’s a pool and a hot tub, a pool table, board/card games throughout, and TV as well. I spent most of my time in the pool which Bonnie cleaned every morning before I even awakened! There’s lots of wild life around, in the short 3 days, I saw a groundhog, a slew of wild turkeys, a salamander, a frogs, and at night the fireflies come out. This rental was beautiful and Bonnie was a gracious and attentive host. I am definitely looking to come back with a larger group next year.

Perfect hideout for us to take a break from the crazy time.
This place matches our expectation for an escape from our routine quarantine life style. Great time for families to bond and strongly recommended it. Bonny is awesome and very responsive for all our needs and last minute request.

Great escape!
We had such a wonderful time in Heaven Lane and was more then we even expected! Property was great, house was huge (couldn’t even hear the kids in the basement ;-), so clean and Bonnie was a terrific host. She even brought her Bluetooth speaker over so we could listen to music by the pool. We really felt like it was an escape, especially living in a bubble for the last 3.5 months due to the coronavirus. Thank you Bonnie, hope to visit again!

Fantastic getaway

Absolutely beautiful home
If you are looking for a true “Mountain house log cabin type feel” house then this is it. The house was even nicer in person. We had a group of 16, 10 kids and 6 adults and the house did accommodate everyone comfortably. Every room was decorated with its own theme which gives this home true character and personality. The view from the great room windows to front wooded area was wonderfully peacefull. You could sit there for hours with a campfire and coffee and just watch the deer out front which were around often. I cant say enough about how much i loved this house. It would be a great stay in the summer also. We hope to come back. Bonnie was very nice and easy to communicate with. Thank you for a great memorable weekend.

Best House Ever!!!
This house and the property is absolutely amazing! We had a large group of friends for the week of New Year’s Eve and there was plenty of space for all of us to be more than comfortable including 5 bathrooms so there was never a line. Bonny stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process and was very friendly and more than accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities especially the pool table in the basement, the fireplace, and the hot tub. We also loved watching the deer come up super close by her new deer feeder in the backyard and took some amazing photos and videos. There was a large kitchen which was great as we had a number of cooks in our group and the kitchen island and counter space allowed us to work together with plenty of room to maneuver. We had 16 in our group and were able to fit at the large table in the dining room comfortably. We used the smaller table to play all sorts of games and laugh well into the night. The house itself is amazingly beautiful and there were all sorts of beautiful personal touches that lent it a country charm including very tasteful decor and 3 Christmas trees to highlight the season. I would definitely rent this house again. I highly recommend both the home and our most gracious host Bonny. We will most certainly be repeat customers!!!

Heaven in the woods
My girlfriends and I have rented this house 2 years in a row, and if we are able to come back for a third year, we definitely will. Bonny is the epitome of gracious host, the amenities provided are spectacular, and the property itself is amazing. You want for nothing in this amazing spacious house. Bathing suits, beach towels, sunglasses, phone chargers, they're all available. The pool/hot tub/pavilion setup is the main attraction but the house itself is the real star. Stay here, you won't regret it!!
