Important before booking: Swizzle On The Sound requires a minimum stay of 30 nights. This is a long-stay property — designed for snowbirds, remote workers, and families who want to settle into Holmes Beach for a month or more. If a shorter stay is what you need, IVP has weekly rental properties that may be a better fit.

Also before booking: the saltwater pool is heated on request at $15 per day — arrange in advance for the pool to be at a consistent 85°.

The 2025 renovation left no surface untouched. Whitewashed shiplap ceilings, designer coastal furnishings, open-concept flow. The kitchen has an oversized island with seating, custom tile backsplash, top-tier appliances, and quality cookware stocked and ready. Three bedrooms designed for real comfort — the primary suite has a spa-inspired bathroom with direct pool access, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the bunk room has beach-themed décor and surfboard accents that consistently earn their own mention in guest reviews. Both bathrooms received full designer treatment.

The outdoor space is where this property earns its reviews. Six distinct zones:
The cedar-ceiling pavilion has a mounted TV, comfortable seating, and island airflow — the morning coffee spot, afternoon reading room, and evening cocktail lounge depending on the hour. The fire pit lounge has custom seating for s'mores and stargazing. The pool deck dining area has a farmhouse table for al fresco meals. Multiple conversation areas — wicker sets, lounge chairs, intimate two-tops — give a group of six room to spread out. The outdoor kitchen zone has a premium gas grill, prep area, and outdoor shower. The fenced backyard has mature palms and tropical plantings that create complete privacy.

The heated saltwater pool sits at the center of it all. Three separate guest reviews have called it out unprompted — one guest described it as "the pool we never wanted to get out of" after multiple AMI stays, calling this their best holiday yet.

Beach access is about ten houses away. The free island trolley stops nearby for exploring without a car.
