Fun times in Holland
The house had a beautiful view of the lake shore and the beach and sunsets were amazing. The house is a little older with some quirks but nothing we couldn’t handle.

Location, Location, Location!
This large house sits on the bluff of a gorgeous setting. We were here in May so we could see the lake perfectly. The house is a bit older and shows wear of a well-loved home that occurs from lots of use and some stress from elements of the weather. The deck is brand new and offers a great place to enjoy the lake views. The beach was huge and beautiful. Lots of stairs! We didn't need the upstairs of the home at all but saw there were plenty of beds for kids and other adults. Would go again just for the lake views and close access to Holland.

Great!
It was a perfect place for a quiet New Year's get together with friends and their children. The large table in the living room was great for lots of board games, we were super grateful the TV got all the stations we needed for football games, and the kitchen was more well stocked than we expected. With no leaves on the trees, the view of the lake was great.

Slightly disappointed
Overall the house was fine. However the overgrown trees block the view of Lake Michigan from the house. Very disappointing. Yes you can walk down the stairs to a deck with chairs to view the beach/sunset but the pictures online misrepresent which deck to use to view the water. This was false advertising to me and I would book elsewhere in the future. If I book on the water, I want to view the water from the house. Also the ceiling needs to be cleaned where the ceiling fans is…lots and lots of hanging dust which is visible.

Nice place
We loved it but be aware there are a lot of stairs getting into the home. One of the people staying had a broken ankle so that made it difficult for her. Also, there really isn't a view of the lake, because of the trees, without going down to the landing. The rooms were big and nicely decorated. Overall a beautiful place right on LAKE MICHIGAN!!

Great Weekend Trip
Had an amazing time with our large group of 32 year old friends. There are a LOT of stairs down to the beach so that may not work for some people but we loved the beach, the size, the number of beds/bathrooms and the location! Great stay!

Weekend Stay
House was spacious and clean. The beach access was a great perk and it was cool to be in such a remote location. The only downside to the house is that the water has a strong sulfur smell. It wasn't very pleasant to drink or shower, so we mainly used bottled water.

Beautiful getaway
We had beautiful April weather and needed a getaway. This house has the potential to be 100 percent 5 star. The views are priceless. The previous reviews are constant with what we found. Although I was shocked at the dirtiness of the couches. I have not seen that since collage days. So yes stained carpets, and scuffed wall in main living area. Yet so many things were very nice. The water did not bother us. We have a well at home. There are 70 steps to the water but, it is very well made with rest stops. My 75 year old parents who came for dinner could do it fine. I think this is a good place for a large group with children. You just keep thinking that this place could be so nice with a little refreshing. Good supplies of dish detergent, laundry detergent, minimal spices and pantry items. The staff (and yes that feels different than an owner) was responsive and pleasant. I get the feeling the company does not do early check ins period. Getting to the house from the main road is tricky the first time. You want printed out instructions as you most likely will not have service. Overall we enjoyed our time and would go again.

Impressive property, unimpressed with management
Overall a great place, beautiful view, clean. First time in a place not owned by a family but a company which was quite evident. Had read on another review that carpets need cleaning and they indeed have several spots, not disturbing though. There is a grill pictured but it is not maintained and not on the deck. Unfortunately we lost power during our stay and the generator, though on, was not maintained and did not function. We called the number given but were hung up on several times, evening and morning. When we finally did reach someone they were friendly and told us that the property manager was not available and that we would be refunded for the time we didn’t have power, which we were, promptly. All in all it’s a fantastic house and location and believe it or not I think we would still go back, just with lower expectations of management.

Great views, good location convenient to Holland and Saugatuck but tucked into the woods and away from the crowds. Well-provisioned home and clean. Visible wear and tear though so doesn’t quite measure 5 stars.

The property is beautiful. One of the bedrooms appears to have a door on the floorplan but does not. So just be aware that one of the day beds in the loft is an open area and affords no privacy. No cell service outside the house so download your directions before you leave ...House w3as very nice with lots of space!

Beautiful secluded beachfront.
Great location for some quality family time! The beach was amazing. House was clean and spacious. Kitchen was fully stocked. Only minor complaint was the condition of outdoor decks and furniture. All could use a good cleaning. But we spent most of our time at the beach, so wasn’t a huge issue for us.

Lake Michigan Beachfront
Ideal location on Lake Michigan with beautiful beach. Downside is there are about 75 steps up and down to get to the beach. House had plenty of room for large family of 12. Master bedroom carpet was badly in need of cleaning but house was otherwise in good shape and comfortable for a beach house.

Bachelorette Party
We stayed for a bachelorette party. It was a great time. We loved walking down to the beach and also enjoyed the large deck with wood for a fire. Plenty of bedrooms/beds. Only complaint is that the service was very spotty and there were no Ubers or Lyfts around.

Nice seen of the frozen Waves of the lake, tried calling and emailing once we got to house to figure out the door lock again to see if there is a garage door opener to keep in car. Both times got no responses. The house is ok but old, alarm kept making a sound every 5 minutes or so, but had a sign on it do not touch, so we didnt. The water smells ouful when you shower or wash on sink. Wifi is good. Many ice batches on stairs front and back, must be careful, lots of beds for sure. Thank you

We had a nice stay. Great location, enough room, good layout. Lovely home. Would have appreciated better quality toiletries (tp/Kleenex). View was everything. Home was well kept. 10:00 am checkout was quite inconvenient however we knew to expect it. So lovely to have view during winter months.

Beautiful Location
Had a great time at this house. Yes, the water is well water so it has a smell to it . You'll need to be able to get over that. Was not an issue for our group--just bring lots of bottled water. The location itself was amazing. The deck right off the back and the extended deck/landing down the steps overlooking the water was so perfect. The private (ish) beach was amazing for our family reunion. Location was closer to Saugatuck than I originally thought--5 min drive. The house is in need of some general upkeep that can be seen around the perimeter, roof, deck, etc. But this did not impact our stay. This is a beautiful house and it made for a really great family reunion get away.

Gorgeous house on the lake!
We did a few days at this house as a last hurrah before our med school graduation, and we loved it. The house is very large, so we all had lots of space. We LOVED being able to walk from the patio down the stairs to a seating area looking over the lake, and then down to the beach. We had pretty chilly weather when we were there, but we really enjoyed walking along the lake. House was very clean and comfortable. Only bummer was the hard water (which we knew about based on other reviews). Water was safe to drink, but bringing bottled water was definitely preferable. Would definitely recommend this gorgeous house!

Marvelous location with plenty of outdoor space
Overall, this is a great location with access to a private beach. I felt very relaxed and comfortable here. However, I agree with other reviews that they must do something about the water. We had to go out and buy drinking water for everyone for our entire stay - not terrible but definitely an inconvenience.

Location location
This property is nothing but location.... Nothing can beat the location of the property. The most idle way to relax and unwind. I am not giving it a five star as there are a couple of things within the house that need to be catered to, to make it a five star location. a) Water, its too hard. They need to install water softner so guests get a pleasant experience. b) Bathrooms need a little bit of TLC. c ) Some applicances and stuff in the kitchen need to be replaced so that they can be used. Private beach is clean and also the overall experience was wonderful.

Not disappointed!
The Lake House was perfect for our family. We especially appreciated the large deck and the beach because the weather was warm and we spent a lot of time outdoors. And the AC worked well when we were inside. The kitchen contained everything we needed including very nice dinnerware and flatware. We would be happy to return sometime.
