Nice spacious and clean room, right on the beach, great toiletries and a warm welcome upon arrival. Service at breakfast was slow and food was nothing special but hotel overall was pleasant.

Coral Reef Club is highly influenced by the English lifestyle. Caters to the older British couples. Male dress restrictions for dining (breakfast / lunch no sleeveless t shirts; dinner no t-shirts, shirts with collars required. Amenities showing age. My a/c broke down, worn mattresses caused back ache even when feather top was removed. House keeping services, with no prior notice, are extra charges.

However, we have established a dress code to ensure that all of our guests are appropriately dressed for our casual and elegant dining experiences. With regards to our amenities, Coral Reef Club closes annually for refurbishments as upkeep is paramount for us. We are, nevertheless, sorry to learn that we still did not meet your expectations. As it relates to your room, we provided you with a free upgrade for your AC troubles, which you accepted, and there were no additional complaints. Please also note, we conducted an internal review of the charges on your bill and can confirm that there were no extra charges on your bill.We do hope that though we fell short in some areas that the good outweighed the bad. We wish to thank you for choosing Coral Reef Club, and look forward to welcoming you again should you return.

Coral Reef offers a uniquely beautiful garden setting with a sea and beach border. To glance in any direction in any of those settings, is to see beauty. The elegant and welcoming main building and scattered cottages and garden rooms sit comfortably and gloriously within the garden and beach areas. All ones needs are absorbed by the attention of a myriad of gentle, characterful and super efficient staff and underpinned by the ever present attention of the family owners. Paradise on earth.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Any room is a good room. Island is expensive for food, including the property, complementary breakfast is okay. Lunches and dinners were excellent. Service was superior from the cleaning to the waitstaff to the beach attendants. We would definitely stay here again. Key thing to note is the expense of taxis.

Wonderful charming with an eye for detail
Absolutely fabulous from the minute we arrived until we left. The staff are all lovely with special thanks to karishma for wonderful greeting and so much information all with both professionalism and a big smile , Dwayne for excellent service in the restaurant and the most amazing laugh , and Akeem who worked on the beach area where nothing was too much trouble , such a pleasant young man with a big smile. Our room was wonderful with sea views but quiet and private. Just perfect.

Amazing stay
The hotel and the team at the hotel were amazing. Tye promote being family friendly but they really do go above and beyond which as a parent makes the stay so easy. They prepared specially made meals for our little one for lunch and dinner and nothing was to much trouble. The room was spacious and well thought out. Everyone was amazing and they all made our holiday.

We had a wonderful 5 days at Coral Reef. The setting is stunning with beautiful gardens and beachfront. Our room was spacious and combined elegant decor with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. All the hotel and water sport staff were really friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. We really enjoyed the included tennis and sailing. This was the perfect way to finish our first trip to Barbados. We would love to return in the future.

Understated elegance. Large rooms with porch or balcony, room service quiet discreet always pleasant- jungle/ garden like surroundings carefully tended every day- wonderful breakfasts open air by the water- many guests from England - 9 hour direct flight from London - chicago changed planes in Miami ... Water sports on beach- kayaks paddle boards snorkeling on your own or trips to turtles and wrecks- jet skis- All in the quiet of shaded beach with beautiful green umbrellas and wonderful staff to make your visit perfect- lunches drinks ... We enjoyed dinners at Coral Reef but also took advantage of fabulous restaurants only a short distance away. We returned to The Tides for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner and loved it! We visited for our 40th anniversary- and now our 50th... can’t wait as long now to return! No tv no radio in rooms or bar areas- return to paradise and being with loved ones and friends. It’s different- but a real treat!

Great hotel with excellent facilities and fantastic staff. We particularly enjoyed the spa where we had massages, tennis with the pro (Monica who was great) and also liked the garden tour! Food was delicious and the room was very spacious. Would highly recommend staying here.

A little slice of paradise
My husband and I recently stayed at the Coral Reef Club and checked in with high expectations. I'm delighted to say that those expectations were not only met, but in many ways exceeded; from our first moments at check-in until our final day of departure everything was ideal. The hotel is understated and elegant and set in gloriously lush grounds, while the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.The really unexpected pleasure, however, was in getting to meet the O'Hara family who own and run the hotel - their warmth and hospitality made for a truly exceptional experience that really added to our stay. I would highly recommended staying at the Coral Reef Club if you want a restful break in a beautiful part of the world.

Exceptional Environment, Facilities and Service
From the time we entered the the property, we knew we were in a special place. The tropical landscaping is beautifully maintained - you are struck with the scent of jasmine as you get out of the car. The service throughout is attentive and discrete. The owner’s, the O’Hara family, hosted a reception that allowed us to meet some of the other guests which added to the friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed the swimming, snorkelling, sailing and paddle boarding and there is much more on offer. The visiting tennis pro made tennis from 4 to 6 fun for all comers and paired us up with guests with similar skill level that lead to some great doubles and singles matches. We will return.
