Wonderful luxury vacation condo with nice ocean views. Stainless steel appliances with granite counters and new cabinets in the kitchen. Living room has a wonderful view out to the ocean with large flat screen TV and designer furniture. Master bedroom has a king size bed with en suite updated shower. Bath has walk in glass shower and new vanities with granite counter. Guest bedroom has queen size bed with access to full bath with shower and tub combination. Living room has foldout couch which allows the condo to comfortably sleep six people. Spectacular ocean location with bike paths, shops and restaurants close by. Your vacation rental includes bike rentals and beach gear with your stay. 236 Shorewood in Forest Beach is professionally managed and operated by Hilton Head Vacations, Inc, a locally owned company.

Forest Beach area includes a huge Town of Hilton Head Celebration park with large grass field and huge Pirate Ship playground for the kids. Coligny shops and restaurants are an easy walk with over 60 shops and restaurants. Miles of beautiful white sandy beaches are right in front of the condo. Bike paths are right behind the condo and you can enjoy shaded bike paths for miles.

Wonderful Location on Hilton Head Island

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sherwood condo! The location is wonderful. It is walking distance to everything you might need: restaurants, shops, grocery store, beach & pool! We had a large wagon stroller that worked well for our family with the building elevators. The property manager was helpful but there was some miscommunication- We were told there were beach towels and no beach chairs- When we arrived, there was only one beach towel and plenty of chairs when we had already rented them from Vayklife. The kitchen dishwasher did not work and bed linens & pillows were very low quality. If you live close, I recommend bringing pillows from home and your own linens.

Great Condo!

The condo was perfect for our stay. Shorewood's location directly on the beach as well as a short walk to Coligny Plaza met all our needs. We had one minor issue (the screen door came off of the track) and it was taken care of quickly. We definitely would stay again.

Spring Break

We've stayed at the property before. The condo was well kempt and clean however, the shower in the master bedroom had very little water pressure and the dryer didn't dry the clothes on the first cycle. We had to run 2-3 cycles to get our clothes dried. Also, on Friday we had the water turned off in the condo but received no notice from anyone that would be taking place. We had to use the restroom by the pool to go to the bathroom and brush our teeth. Other tenants had been notified but we never were, and I had to call the property owner who wasn't sure how long it would be off either. We ended up getting water back on around 12:30pm. Other than those few things our stay was very relaxing.

Ocean View Property

We loved the location and the pool. Easy beach access and walking distance to Coligny! We would definitely stay again. Only issue is it needs a super deep clean. All the dishes needed rewashed before we used. The floors were dirty. Needed to be vacuumed and probably a carpet cleaning. .

Overall very pleased. 2 things I wish were different. 1. Check in could have easily been done without physically going to the office, codes could have been sent via email, etc. 2. Property doesn’t have a grill on site.

Our stay was nice. I would not suggest renting golf clubs from Hilton Head vacation rentals, they are terrible. I was disappointed that the manager of Hilton Head vacation rentals did not try to help when I called the office on Saturday after we arrived at our home telling him that I left our organizer toiletry bag w/valuable dental guards and my husband's shaver in the bathroom. His response was "they aren't responsible for items left" I told him if he could get in touch with the cleaning crew I would pay for shipping, he said"will try" I will not rent from Hilton Head vacation rentals inc. our son stayed in another rental of Hilton Head vacation rentals#211 they also had issues.

Hilton Head

The original property we reserved - with an oceanfront view and modernized bathrooms in Shorewood - was canceled by the rental company one day prior to our arrival. We were told that an HOA improvement project had not been completed on time, forcing a relocation. Hilton Head Vacations offered us 10 properties to review and select one in trade - none with even a slight ocean view, and none of them selected by us through VRBO. I paid a $327 VRBO fee for the initial property that I believe should be refunded to me. The alternate property where we stayed - Forest Beach Villas - was clean, convenient and well maintained, but the bathrooms were dated and had no view - a disappointment.

Perfect Fall Break...

First time we've taken a 'fall break' beach vacation...and so, so glad we did! The complex was simply beautiful and so convenient to Coligny and other fun areas. Our condo was a perfect retreat with a view of the complex pool and ocean. The fact that it was gated gave us an extra sense of security. I would highly recommend Shorewood to any considering their next vacation in Hilton Head Island. We'll definitely be back!

A wonderful spot with a great view

The unit was great; spacious, comfortable and with a wonderful view on the pool and the ocean. Just a few steps from the pool and the beach and a couple of minutes from restaurants and shops. The carpet showed its age but everything else was great. We would absolutely come back and recommend the place!

Amazing Unit!

We have been going to HHI for 20 years and this is the best unit yet. The layout was great, the decor was gorgeous and it was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the washer and dryer was convenient. FYI the coffee maker takes cone filters. The view from the balcony was amazing and the proximity to the pool and beach was perfect. It was also a short walk to Coligny which my teens loved. Also the beds in both rooms were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again!

Family vacation with 2 infants

This condo was perfect for our family vacation. The location is great, the property is very secure with gates at the parking lot entrance and beach access. The pool was and beach access were perfect. The unit was clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. Kitchen was well stocked. The second bedroom was a little cramped with the couch but other than that we loved our stay!
