«The breakfast in the morning was great always stocked and fresh.The cleaning crew was excellent they help with anything i needed.The pool and hot tub area was always clean and the only problem waa the hot tub on our last night wouldnt heat up but that was the only issue with that area. The only thing i had a problem with was one woman at your front desk that i checked in with and out with was very rude when i checked in and also when i went to the desk the next day to ask for some more coffee ...

«We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.»

«Pros- walking distance to beach & Coligny park. Rooms were clean and the hotel has been updated. Reasonably priced. Allows pets. Water pressure was good & water hot. The manger was very kind & you could tell truly cared about his hotel guests. Cons- the room key system was broken during half of our stay & required us to have a staff member unlock our door as we came & went. «What laundry service? Parkimg was easy. Staff was overwhelmed with problems from guests. Most of these problems were preventable of they had fully prepared the rooms before the guests stayed in them. Amoung the problems were one lady didnt have a shower curtain. We didnt have a remote and went multiple times and they kepta promising to come help us. One guest had 6 people and two sets of towels for a room with more than one bed. «Parking was private and super easy. Room 6 was large, spacious and very nicely accommodating. Shower was larger than expected with excellent water pressure. Location is near a very busy intersection with views of the water, the swing bridge, and lots of action but so worth it to be part of it all for downtown’s hustle and bustle of small town Beaufort, SC. Almost walking distance to everything. A great place to stay.»
