Denne villaen er smakfullt innredet med nyere møbler overalt, og har alle hjemmets fasiliteter.

Comfortable Stay with Easy Beach Access

We had a great stay here. The place was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Check-in was easy with a digital keypad. The pool was nice, and the beach was within walking distance. It felt much quieter than the main public access spot we visited earlier, and we appreciated the hose by the front door for rinsing off sand.One issue was with the bikes. The listing said two were included, but when I asked about adding a third, the host said it came with four adult bikes. That turned out to be incorrect. Only two were there when we arrived. Since we had a bike ride planned that evening, we had to scramble to rent another last minute. If we had been given accurate info, we could have had one delivered ahead of time.Also, some local spots like the Salty Dog Café are in Sea Pines, which has restricted access. You can't walk or bike in unless you're staying there. You can get a vehicle pass for a day or a week, but that only applies to driving in. This isn’t a flaw with the rental itself, just something to be aware of when planning activities.The kitchen was generally well equipped, but one small thing that would have helped was having basic cooking oil on hand. We brought groceries to cook several meals, and while salt and pepper were available, cooking oil was not. It's a minor detail, but something we typically count on being provided at other rentals.Despite those few hiccups, we really enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

Unwanted Guests/Cockroach Infestation

We arrived on Saturday in H.H. Our visit in this unit went downhill quickly! We woke up Sunday morning to an infestation of cockroaches scrambling the counters in the kitchen. I have pictures/videos as proof. Adult and nymphs. I called and e-mailed the Management company which was quick to respond and sent an exterminator out on the same day. Monday we woke up and roaches were in kitchen and living room. Apparently, it takes a while for them to die. I called the Management company and stated this is a health issue and we did not want to stay in this unit. The Management company gave us the option to move us to a much bigger complex or refund our money. We took the refund and were able to find, on our own, and rent a house in Sea Pines. We were/are disappointed that we lost an entire day of vacation packing/looking for housing/and moving. We've stayed in H.H. at many homes and have NEVER had an infestation of roaches! We struggle to believe this unit was properly sprayed for bugs. The unit needs some TLC. The couch could use cleaning. Lose the multiple pillows that have seen fresher days. As much as we love H.H. we DID NOT LOVE THIS UNIT!

Perfect family condo!

This is the second time my family has stayed at this property, and we really love it for many reasons. The location is great - just a short walk across the street and down a very pretty path to the ocean. We also love that the patio is so close to the private pool, which never had more than a few guests at a time. We were WOWed by the improvements they've made to this condo! The screened in patio room was such a nice addition! We also love the built-ins and window seat that they added to the dining room. The kitchen was well-stocked and all the appliances worked great. The upstairs loft now has a pull-out sofa bed which my kids loved. The electric reclining chair is also nice! Both bedrooms were spacious and had more than enough room for my me, my husband and our two kids. The keypad doorknob was super handy. Just a great condo overall! Only a few negatives (which were not deal-breakers at all for us) - we could have used more washcloths and towels (only one set per person was provided), a couple tiles in the bathroom floors were loose and shifted when you stepped on them, we could not get the living room tv to work at all, and wished the extra pillows had been cleaner/newer and had pillowcases on them. Overall though, we just love this condo and look forward to staying at it again during our next trip to HHI! :)

Great condo!

We loved this condo! Nice quiet location. Just a short walk to the beach. Everything was perfect from the screened porch looking out toward the pool to the beautifully upgraded kitchen and rooms. We will definitely book this one again! Everything was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful week!

Sister get away

We had a wonderful visit at this lovely villa. It has a beautiful view of the pool. We enjoyed having the bikes right there and the great trails in sea Pines. Loved being so close to the beach club in Sea Pines. We bought a pass for the week and enjoyed the different restaurants and Harbortowne. We had everything we needed but would have liked bigger wine glasses. The water was running slow in the bathrooms, we called and they had it fixed the same day.

Great location

Our family had a great stay in Hilton Head. The condo is a quick walk to a beautiful beach! A few things in the condo could use fixing but overall we enjoyed our stay. We biked to restaurants and shops which was fun and most of all we loved the beach!

BEST STAY EVER!!!!

The property was so convenient and easy access to the beach. The house was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. Check in and check out were effortless. One of the bikes we had needed repairs and we called and they brought us a new bike in under an hour. We ended up renting a few more and those were delivered then as well. The pool is right out the back door. The house had many helpful amenities I would recommend this property to anyone! What a great experience! You will not be disappointed!!!!!

Location, about 5 minute walk, lots of beach area

Property was nice, comfortable and in a good location. The cleanliness of the property left a lot to be desired. A few examples; Shoes were under the bed, along with large amounts of dust and dirt. In the tiled shower, hair covered the drain. Due to this, felt the need to clean the areas that we used. Did not trust the extra cleaning , performed by the cleaning staff. We understand it is hard to have enough staff due to the pandemic. Hopefully this improves. Did not notify the property manager, took care of cleaning ourselves.

Great location - short bike trip to Harbor Town, Coligny Circle and 10 minute walk to beach if using path located across street near end of Ocean Gate Villas parking lot. Kitchen was well stocked with K- cup coffee maker, etc. No hair dryer so bring your own!! Nice layout with 2 full baths up and 1/2 bath downstairs next to laundry area. Would stay here again!

Perfect condo for our vacation!

Our family had a fantastic time in this great condo on our recent trip to HHI! It was even nicer in person than in the photos. The location was great - not too close to the business of Coligny, but still an easy bike ride or drive to wherever we wanted to go. The condo is right next to the entrance to Sea Pines (which has Salty Dog, Harbour Town and lighthouse, etc.), so the proximity to here was great, too. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes on foot. Have to keep an eye out for cars crossing the road, but it was never a problem. The walk through the foliage on the way to the ocean was so pretty. Lots of awesome houses along the path to see, too! All of our neighbors at Ocan Gate Villas were wonderful. It was never crowded and there was always plenty of space at the pool. We LOVED that it was right off the back patio and just a few steps away. The pool was so clean and well maintained nearly every day we were there. My husband and I couldn't belive how spacious the condo felt - the high ceilings and double patio doors really made it feel open. The bathrooms and kitchen were newly remodeled and very nice. (One of the floor tiles in the guest bathroom was a little loose but not a big deal.) There are so many items in the condo tucked away in the drawers and closet that it had everything we needed and more. I was so happy they had a Keurig, too! We used the grill almost every night and were pleasantly surprised it was a nice Weber one, too! Having the washer and dryer there was especially great, although the washer was a bit old and didn't have a big capacity, it worked like a champ. The only downside to our stay was that it was not cleaned as well as it could have been before we arrived. We found two used bath towels wadded up behind the door of the guest bathroom, and there was clearly still leftover crumbs on the kitchen counters, a few hairs on the floor, etc. I didn't mind cleaning it up (I'm a mom after all), but I wish it would have been a bit more clean when we arrived. Overall, we really enjoyed this great condo and are planning to return next year. We would absolutely book here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing this great little home with us! We made so many wonderful memories there. :)

Nice Beach Condo

The condo was clean, nicely furnished and decorated, with updated kitchen and bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The master king bed had a firm, foam mattress. There were 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small loft upstairs. The laundry room and half bath were on the first floor. Nice, small deck with patio furniture. The pool was very close, right in the condo's backyard, and clean. It was a bit of a walk to the beach (this is subjective, I know), a little too far for us. Next time, we'll stay closer to the beach. Probably a 10 minute walk down a sandy path through the trees. 4 aluminum beach chairs with backpack straps and 2 bikes provided. The beach chairs were lightweight and easy to carry on your back. Two parking spots right in front of the condo's front door, which was very nice for unloading. There a LOTS of restaurants and shopping nearby. We spent most of our time at the beach, in the pool and at restaurants. Overall, a relaxing, fun stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Ocean Gate Villa. Perfectly situated on the island and an easy walk to the beach. The house was very comfortable. The two bikes was definitely a great hit! However, although very clean, we found that the unit had a good amount of dog hair. Could have used a good vacuum before we arrived. Kitchen also lacked dish towels. Well stocked with essentials except for a hair dryer. Visitors should bring their own if they need. In addition, if you plan on watching movies, be prepared to bring HDMI cord. Unit has cable but no dvd player. We had a great week and would definitely come back again!

Clean, Comfortable, Quiet, Photos don't do it justice

This place was great. Complex is a bit older but unit was obviously recently renovated. Very close to a quiet section of beach. Lots of space downstairs, good kitchen, two big bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, laundry, extra daybed, etc. It was very clean and quiet, a nice place to stay altogether. I've rented quite a few places on HHI as I have family there to visit with, and this was the best place, and the best value, of everything rented so far. There was even a minor mix-up when I tried to extend a few extra days (it got double booked for the last day), but the property manager - while a little slow to respond - fixed it perfectly and was very gracious about it all. Nice people, well run.

Great place and Location

Definitely will return. Nice complex with the pool and location to the beach. Nice layout. It was great to have a couple bikes to ride to Coligny Beach every morning. So nice to have the beach chairs too. The only bad thing was the cleaning service. The place wasn't ready until 5:30pm (check in was 4pm). I blame the property management, now the owner. I still recommend this unit with all the extras.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful time in our Ocean Gate condo! Unfortunately it wasn’t the cleanest so we spent the first hour cleaning the condo but after that we had a great stay. Less than a ten minute walk to the beach was perfect for our young family!
