This was a terrific place to stay… the pool was terrific, the location was incredible, and it was just steps to the beach. It really made our graduation celebration special.

Would stay again! This was perfect for our family, mom dad and two teenage girls. The beach was a block away and took two minutes to get to. The private pool was amazing and the proximity to shops and food was great! Would stay here again 100%! Two suggestions but they didn’t deter us at all is that the bed in the pool house is a little squeaky and there would be a chest of drawers in there for things like underwear, socks and bathing suits but not a huge deal. Thanks for having us!

Amazing location

We stayed at the property for a friend's wedding in town and it was great to be able to walk to the beach, walk to restaurants and shops, and walk to the wedding. Great pool and hangout in the house as well!

Location, location, location! Walked to shops, restaurants & grocery store almost every day. Easy, short walk to the beach access right at the end of the street. Beach was calm and beautiful. The house was just right for our family of 5. The pool was big enough for lounging and playing at the same time! We had a great time!

Fun Rental Near Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The best thing about this house is the easy walk to the beach and to Coligny Park / Shopping. Yes it could use some upgrades but it had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation.

Family vacay

Great location! Walking distance to all the shops/restaurants. Very short distance to ocean. Screened in porch was nice. Pool was great! No pool/beach towels supplied, so bring your own or buy them like we had too.

Easy location

Just can’t beat the convenience of walking to the pool, beach, piggly wiggly, ice cream, cloud 9 THC/CBD, Rollers, big bamboo, The Bank, NYC pizza, and the list goes on. Excellent for keeping teenagers busy, but not out of trouble!

Annual beach vacation

We rent in the north forest beach location yearly and this was a great house for us. My in laws stayed in the seperate pool house while the family with children stayed in the main house. There was no storage for clothing in the guest house aside from a closet and no shelves in the guest shower, but everything else about the property met our needs.

Great location! Hard to beat the location of this property, it has to be one of the best I've stayed at in Coligny. Unfortunately the property is very run down and is in desperate need of updates. Surfaces were clean when we arrived however places like under beds and couches looked like they hadn't seen light in decades. Perimeter fences are falling apart and are ugly to look at. Pool area was falling apart and had major cracks leading to safety concerns. On several occasions we stubbed out feet on the cracked concrete in and around the pool area. The pines from the trees also fall into the pool constantly so you will be cleaning those out daily but they aren't too hard to get out thankfully. The parking is very small and you can really only fit 1 large or 2 small cars in the parking space. The front landscaping could use a major facelift. Bushes and trees are overgrown leading to creatures, bugs and other critters making their way onto/into the property. The biggest issue we had with this was a very large snake making its way into the screened porch. Luckily we had the door open before we noticed it and it slithered right passed us into the bushes in the front of the house. The property staff were very friendly and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. They called to make sure we made it into the house and made sure we knew they were available if we needed them. Overall we enjoyed our stay and mostly the location but probably wouldn't book again.

Really enjoyed all the light from all the windows. One of the nicest showers with a high shower head. We had a great time. we love staying close to the beach on the north forest beach side.

Incredible location, realistic listing

We had a great stay here. The location is incredible and everything - beach, Coligny, PBJ’s, Adventure Park, etc., are easily walkable. Our two boys slept in the twin beds great but the main bed was very uncomfortable. The appliances and furniture are very old and dated so comfort/cleanliness the washer/dishwasher provided were just okay. The disposal did not work and the bathtub drained incredibly slowly so the standing water in both felt very grubby. The convenience items could have been better - for example, we had to buy hand soap. We could overlook these things due to the location and ease it provided but there could have been improvements.

Bittern

We enjoyed our week but felt there could be improvements. No place for shampoo and soaps in the shower. No dresser in the cottage Outside around house dirty but Pool area. Beautiful. Rugs in house were hard and uncomfortable. The screen porch dirty. Walk to beach and Cologny perfect.

Nice location and pool

The pool sells the property and I had a great week with the family. Unfortunately though, the outside pool area/chairs/surrounding property really needs an overhaul. Everything outside was really dirty. I never received any feedback from the property manager when I complained about construction materials/etc. laying out. We found deck screws on the pool deck.

A very good location

This property has a great location close to the beach and Coligny Plaza. It was nice not to have to drive anywhere if we didn’t choose to. The property management group was excellent at communicating and very willing to make a last-minute change to our stay. Thank you for being accommodating. The building itself is a little dated, but I feel the pictures do a fair job showing you what you are getting. I felt I was more than informed based on the listing. I have really two concerns. The first is that the mattresses should be replaced. The second is that the outdoor furniture could be replaced. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Excellent location and outdoor space!

We had a fabulous time staying in this property! The private pool, outdoor space and separate guest house (cottage) were perfect for us and our large family with adult children. Two minute walk to the beach. Two minute walk to Coligy, grocery store and multiple restaurants. The inside of the house was very clean and comfortable. The pool is very large for a private home and the property management company was very responsive. Yes, the outside could benefit from a pressure wash and the outdoor furniture and concrete around the pool aren’t perfect but overall this is a nice property. The only negatives where the lack of kitchen supplies, especially coffee cups and silverware, and lack of clothing storage in the cottage. Also, a shower caddy in the cottage bathroom would be super helpful. These are easy fixes that would make things all bit more enjoyable. It’s not a luxury home by any means but it is certainly comfortable. There is a very high likelihood we will stay at this property again.

The house is in a great location.Its close to shops and we loved how close it is to the beach. It was big enough for the 6 of us in our family and our grandbaby. The house could use some up-grades in the kitchen appliances. We like to cook on vacation and the stove burners were hard to cook on and not level. The kitchen needs a new stove all together. The dishes to cook with are not the best. There were no big bowls to mix things in and had to use pots and pans for that. The carpets in the house are so hard to walk on and hurt our feet. Having a baby who crawls...its not baby friendly. Those need to be changed. They need to get a new grill. The grill was not clean and had not been cleaned. The light outside on the side deck by the outside bar would not come on so we could not sit out or grill out after dark. The cottage bedrooms smoke detector did not have a battery in it. There was no dresser in the cottage house. We had no where to put our clothes. We had to leave most of our stuff in our luggage. There were only a hand full of hangers for two people. They need to put a small dresser in the over sized closet. They need to do some small changes for the cost of the property. The pool was the best part. Over all. We enjoyed our vacation with our family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect getaway for Fall Break! Location was amazing!! The walk to the beach was easy, flat, and surprisingly close. It was also only 1 block from all the shops and restaurants. We never had to drive anywhere. We wish we had paid to heat the pool, even though the cost is pricey. The kids bared the cold, but we would have spent more time in it if it were a little warmer. Live and learn. The house could use some cosmetic touch ups, but it was a great layout. If you spend all your time outside the house exploring Hilton Head, you really aren't bothered. Management company was very friendly and responsive, even processing a last minute decision to rent bikes (highly recommend!). We'd definitely bring our family of 6 again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was absolutely perfect. So close to the beach and close to all the shops at the amazing coligne plaza. Also a short distance away from the children’s museum and incredible pirate ship park. The house was very cute however I only have 2 complaints. It was very dirty-they need a new cleaning service. Mold on shower curtains, lots of sand and dust. And the beds were very noisy and uncomfortable. We did not get much sleep during our stay. Overall we had a great trip. I would definitely do the same location but a different house.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve previously stayed on this street, so it’s a great location. Close to the beach and shops/restaurants at Coligny. However, this property needs work. When we arrived, the house had not been properly cleaned. We had to buy air fresheners to help with the nasty smell. The pool area has a huge crack in the concrete so beware with kids. Would not recommend!
