The property has a very good location in Hilo with an easy drive to the Volcanoes National Park and other interesting areas. It offers good privacy; however, this area could be noisy at night due to proximity to two main Hilo streets. The interior of the apartment was very clean on the arrival as were towels and bed sheets. I cannot say the same about some kitchen appliances that need either major scrubbing or replacement (rust). The listing on Orbitz included iron and board, and washer and dryer. None of these were on site and there was no information how to access them. I could not retrieve messages sent to me by host through Orbitz. If one arrives after sunset, it is difficult to find the right house. There are 3 similar large houses. Two of them have clearly visible numbers on the front sides. This unit has a number on the side of the house, but it is not lit at night, and it is obstructed by a large utility truck parking on that side of the building. It would be very helpful to add the unit number on the front wall or door. I was guessing the unit number based on Google Maps.
