High Class Cabin Hideaway

Away from the hustle and bustle of big city life, we have come to appreciate the luxuries of nature and the sounds of the wild. As you step away from the city lights you will enjoy the stars with no light pollution. Around the bend of a weathered Alabama Highway on the outskirts of a quaint Southern town, between the break of scrub pines and roadside weeds, an impressive clearing appears, pulling any traveler’s foot from the steady driving force on the gas pedal and demanding that one slow down to take in the site.

Great host, great donuts, great secluded property. Didnt get a chance to use the pool but the pool area was beautiful. The home has lots of room to move and room for kids to play.

Great Family Time

Comfortable welcoming enviroment. Something to keep everyone entertained. The wifi is terrible but you wont miss it because there is so much else to fill your time. The grounds are well kept and the host is very welcoming and helpful! The doughnuts she brought were the best we have ever had!!!

Awesome getaway!

This property is amazing! It's clean, well stocked, and maintained. The pool area is beautiful! The kids and adults in our party enjoyed the game room too! It was so great to just relax and hang out in the woods away from the hustle of day to day life. We will definitely plan another trip to this location!

Amazing time, much needed retreat!

Stayed at Tammy and Mike’s beautiful cabin for my wife’s birthday and couldn’t have had a better time! From fishing in the lake off the pedal boats, swimming in the resort style pool and watching the deer every morning, we couldn’t have found a better place. The owners made sure we had everything we needed and gave us a tour of the place at check in. Kids also got to feed a young deer and ducklings. Very pleased with our stay and will be booking again soon!

Hidden Gem!

We absolutely loved our stay! Tammy was amazing! This was a great place to unplug and enjoy family and friends. The cabin was comfortable, cozy, and accommodating for our group of 9. Something for everyone! Fishing, swimming(the pool at night was gorgeous) playing games, porch sitting, star gazing, and wildlife viewing. The children, as well as the adults, loved feeding and petting Bama, the fawn. Definitely recommend!

Private country lodge

If solitude is what you are looking for this is the spot. Yet, there are plenty of activities to occupy the kids. The wildlife is incredible and the fishing fantastic. Hosts Mike and Tammy are like long lost family.

Absolutely amazing!!!

I just spent 4 days here and I cannot begin to say how AMAZING it was! We were looking for a spring break trip to take the kids on since it has been a rough couple of years! We were looking at the usual places like Destin, orange beach etc.. My husband and I were already burnt out from work and life.. I know it sounds silly but I feel blessed to have come across this property! We all put the electronics down, just spent time with one another and it was the best vacation we have ever had as a family! We spent 90% of our time outdoors on this property! The kids loved the 2 paddle boats! They caught about 20 fish within an hour. The pool was absolutely beautiful! We got to feed deer out of our hands! There is so much to see and explore but honestly I am just so thankful how it brought my whole family together. We have a 12,9, and 3 year old and they all wanted to stay longer. I’m telling you if you are looking for an actual family vacation, this is it!!! If you are feeling burnt/stressed out do yourself a favor and book here! We are already planning our next trip for august! Thank you again Mrs. Tammy your southern hospitality didn’t go unnoticed! You were just as amazing as this property! Ty for having us!

Perfect!

I can't say enough about this property. The moment you drive in gate and up the driveway you'll be blown away. The house is just perfect. Everything was very clean. If you're an outdoorsman you will be besides yourself with this place and the feeder off the back porch is a nice touch. Ms. Tammy was so nice and accommodating. We will be repeat customers for sure.

Tammy was a fantastic host she even brought us donuts the first morning we were there! The property was absolutely beautiful from all the details inside and outside the cabin. We got to watch them feed the deer every morning which my daughter loved. Tammy made sure that we had everything we needed and even let me borrow 2 tables when my plans for my rehearsal dinner fell through so my family could eat down at the poolside if we wanted. She also does weddings at this property and I wish I had known before bc I would have most definitely booked with her!

Beautiful Ranch Hideaway

This place is unbelievable! Although I rated accuracy of online listing as a 5, the listing does not do this place justice! It was so much more than we were expecting. First, Tammy, Mike, and Mike are absolutely wonderful. They made us feel like more than guests, they treated us like long-time neighbors. Second, the property, wow! All we needed to do off-site was a quick grocery shop in Luverne. Everything we could have wanted to do was on property. The pond, pool, game room, bar, and wildlife preserve provided all the entertainment we needed. It was such a luxury to park the car for a few days and spend quality time with extended family, all on the property, with something for everyone. Third, and most importantly, was the peacefulness of the place. And, again, our hosts were so kind and caring, making sure we had all we needed and answering all our questions about the property and wildlife. If you are looking for a destination to get away from it all with friends and/or family and spend quality time together, this place is well worth it! We are already looking for an excuse to go back!

Excellent time

We just had the best time! This was a quick weekend getaway with my best girlfriends and our kids. The kids had a great time fishing. We caught plenty crappy and bass. We rode the paddle boats all over the lake. The kids swam in the pool for hours. We had a rain storm came through so we migrated to the game room and enjoyed a few beverages while playing pinball, pool and video games. The kids never complained once. We cooked food for dinner in the fully stocked kitchen and grilled the best steaks. We loved watching and feeding the deer. Tammy and Mike and their crew were awesome! Highly recommend for a quick weekend getaway. It was less than a 2.5 hour drive from Bham and Mobile. We will definitely be bringing the husband back next time. The place was clean, fully stocked and had a great layout.

Relaxing and Comfortable Property

The property is unique and has great views of the pond and woods. The deer , birds and wildlife were a treat to watch. The property was comfortable and easy to spread out in. It was nice to have multiple showers. Loved the back deck. It suited our needs well.

BETTER THEN DISNEYS ANIMAL KINGDOM!

Wow, what a weekend. We planned on just heading up and bringing the side by side to go check out Boggs and Boulders for the weekend. When we realized it was also a trophy whitetail breeding farm and hunting ranch I was quick to book a guided hunt. I love to hunt but did not get the opportunity this year and my husband had already harvested a couple nice bucks at our camp. When we arrived at the property we were so surprised. It is so beautiful. Huge pond full of ducks, beautiful lodge and our cabin was perfect. Well appointed accommodations, clean and decorated very well. Tammy and Mike, our hosts, were gracious and took care of any of our requests. The cabin overlooks the whitetail breeding area and to actually get a chance to see them up close and actually hand feed them was an amazing experience. Our guide Mike was a hoot,we had a great time with him. I unfortunately missed my opportunity on a nice 8 point buck. BUT, we are going back next weekend...and will plan on visiting them more often. Great experience for families and children, a must do even if you do not go hunting!

Quiet rural retreat

Located in the middle of nowhere on a sprawling estate, there is room to play in the large groomed pasture with a place for the dogs to run. Nicely appointed, and a bunkroom for the kids with several private restrooms including showers, a private bedroom for grandma and grandpa, and mom and dad's master suite on the OTHER wing of the house. Nice quiet place to relax and do absolutely nothing!
