To sum it up in a nutshell, we will always prefer to stay at Braemar any time we should visit Auckland in the future. The place is singularly charming and comfortable. We were offered help and assistance way beyond our expectations. Braemar on Parliament street is highly recommended. »

«We booked through Hotels.com well in advance of our visit but on arrival Bryan was not expecting us. Fortunately there was a room available. A nice continental breakfast was left out for us which was cereal, croissant, apple puffs or toast. We had a decent sized room with bathroom and toilet down the corridor. This would have been shared but there were no other residents when we stayed. The bed was very comfortable. Bryan was v. helpful and provided a list of local restaurants and take always.»

«After a confusing start (the property isn’t marked nor was parking, and I couldn’t find the owner,) we were shown to our studio. It was immaculate, with spare, but nice furnishings. Everything was comfortable, and the blackout shades appreciated. We found the amenities a bit lacking. No toiletries, beyond liquid soap, provided and only instant coffee. «My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. «We booked the cheapest room for two nights, but when we got there, Andy told us that we're their only guests for the weekend, so they upgraded our room to the suite. 😊 The suite was stunning with a big living room and kitchen, also with ecstatic views.
