«Apart from the nice room, the relaxing private open air bath and the fabulous breakfast, it was the wonderful members of staff who made the whole experience so special that we were reluctant to leave. Dinner at Gen, especially regarding the very tasty first dishes, was quite good, too.The Oita course at the seafood restaurant, however, is apparently meant to cater to the tastes of overseas visitors; the portions are much too large to be truly enjoyable (esp. the toriten).»

«Nice boutique hotel . Very peaceful»

«Very nice room, with plenty of space, and very nice facilities. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Beautiful view of the ocean, and at night, the city lights. Plenty of parking, and with a very peaceful and nice Onsen close to the hotel. Nice and easy breakfast in the morning too. »

«Extremely helpful staff, beautiful grounds, rooms and breakfast weren’t fancy but they were all we needed. Will stay again.»

«Hotel was centrally located near the Kanawa Bus Station/Hells Pools/food steam restaurant. 10min walk from the bus station. The hotel was clean & has an onsen! We had a slight translation issue but used our google translate. Perfect area and close to the main sights. 20 min to JR Beppu station by bus from the Kanawa Bus Station. We ...
