The Eagle's Nest is located in a private setting, tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with ample parking. The layout of the home is perfect for parents to enjoy a quiet move upstairs while the kids are playing away in the game room that features a pool table, foosball, lots of board games, and a TV with a DVD play and a nice selection of movies to choose from. Or it creates a nice separation for friends vacationing together.

The property is the perfect place to by your home base for enjoying local area hiking, golf, fishing, horseback riding, ziplining, tubing, wineries, restaurants, shopping, local events, or just relaxing. Complete your day by grilling and relaxing on the deck with family and friend or let your cares melt away in the soothing hot tub.

Enjoy affordable golf in beautiful surroundings with views of the North Georgia Mountains. While staying at one of our delightful properties at Innsbruck, experience fine dining at the newest addition - the Valhalla Resort. Dining is open to the public (reservations recommended). Choose from Caledonia, casual fine dining or the Sky Bar, casual balcony restaurant. Solasta Spa offers you the chance to relax and renew your body & soul. The spa menu includes skin treatments, deep tissue and hot stone massage & pedicure & nail treatments.

This home is ideally located for visiting spectacular Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi State Park, and hiking any of the numerous nearby trails. Eagle's Nest is just minutes from Helen but hidden away in the woods for peace and tranquility.

The lower level offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, dining table, pool table, foosball, living area with large flatscreen TV, fireplace, and a large outdoor seating area. 

DVD players and a nice selection of DVD movies provided in the living areas.

The Eagle’s Nest is the perfect place to be your home base for enjoying local area hiking, golf, fishing, horseback riding, zip lines, watersports (tubing and waterpark), wineries, restaurants, shopping, local events or just relaxing.  Complete your day grilling and relaxing on the deck with family and friends or let your cares melt away in the hot tub.

The host was not helpful and very rude.we didn’t have internet and cable tv for 2 days.it was raining so we were confined to the property. She hung up on my sister because it was time for her to go home. The information book was outdated and some of the numbers were wrong. We have always had great experience with anything we rented from VRBO. BUT THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE and we will never rent from these people again. The property manager Jennifer was very rude and not helpful at all.

This house was spacious for the 8 adults we had staying there. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the morning, drinking our coffee on the porch, and returning at the end of the day to soak in the hot tub and challenge each other to a game of pool.

Great girls week!

The house was great! Plenty of room, and great location, close to all we wanted to do, and places we didn’t know we wanted to go! There were a lot of steps though, so be prepared for that. Other than the steps we loved the place.

Great Experience All Around

Pre-Stay & Check In - Really appreciate the guidebook since we have never stayed in Helen before. No issues upon check-in or out. Communication - More than expected. Property owner texted personally which was so nice. Especially since we were scheduled to get some bad storms. We were even offered a late check out in case the storms were bad. Completely unexpected but grateful for. House - This is probably one of the best places I have stayed at for VRBO. It didn't feel like a rental, it felt like we were staying in someone's actual home for the weekend. Enough space for everyone with the open floorplan upstairs and the separate space downstairs. Comfortable so the baby could sleep upstairs and 2 loud 5/6 year olds could play downstairs. Hot tub, Pool Table, and Fooseball were nice additions that we enjoyed. Property - Spacious parking, end of a cul-de-sac, and secured gate. It takes about 7 minutes driving to get from the house into "town". No complaints and will likely be back if we come back to Helen.

Family Christmas Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Eagles Nest. The property overall could use some updates especially the living room couch. The DVD payer in the living room did not work and a better stocked kitchen would be good for cooking meals. Also would recommend having on hand stuff for families with small children such as a playpen or highchair. The management company was very responsive and tried to make our stay very pleasant and we very much appreciated the holiday decorations.

Surprise Getaway

I booked a last minute weekend getaway to surprise my husband for his birthday and to celebrate a family members Anniversary. The place was fully stocked with everything that we needed . We enjoyed playing games , playing pool, and watching movies . We all enjoyed ourselves and would stay again. The only thing that I felt needed some future improvement was both of mattresses on the king beds . It could be that we were all spoiled by our mattresses at home but that's the only negative thing anyone brought up. great place, great host, and great time.

Family getaway weekend

We enjoyed our stay very much. House was very spacious and everyone had plenty of room. Pool table was perfect for the cold nights we decided to stay in. Keurig didn’t work but there was a regular coffee pot there. Everything was perfect and would definitely recommend others who have big families to check this home out. Lovely Home in Helen

We really loved our long weekend in the area as well as the home itself. Close to Main St. but far enough to offer privacy and be away from the crowds. Home had ample room and everything we needed; was well equipped. Having never been to Helen, I am happy they were quick to answer any questions before our trip as well as during. They also responded quickly when I asked about lighting over the hot tub. They quickly sent someone over and added lights. Overall, was very happy.

Comfortable and Relaxing Stay

The house we stayed in was perfect for our needs. 4 bedrooms and 4 baths for my wife and I and our 3 adult kids with their significant others. It was nice to come back from a day out and relax playing pool or in the hot tub. The house had a very comfy feel to it that made it very easy to relax as if we were in our own home. We'd definitely stay there again if we come back.

Awesome cabin for families!

We took a long weekend to Helen with the kids (ages 10-18) and had a great time at the cabin. It was everything we needed. All of us enjoyed the game room at different times, hot tub was clean and was a nice relaxer from hiking, we were able to cook for 8 people at one point comfortably, and the location could not be beat. Neighbors were even super friendly. We took full advantage of all the nearby adventure spots: tubing, zip lining, mountain coaster, water park, hiking and weren’t ready to leave. We plan to frequent Helen and maybe even back here! Thanks for the great family memories.

Xmas stay

The overall stay was satisfactory. We had ample room, and the amenities were good. The property was in good shape, everything worked (except the Christmas three, I think the outlet was burned out, we could not turn it on, tried breakers, plugging and unplugging, but nada). The upstairs bed could be better, the mattress and pillows are worn. Same goes for the main couch, it has seen better days. With a little love, it would be a solid 10, as it is now it's a 7.5. Again, nothing significant, just upgrading a few things and keeping up with things like the Refrigeratior filter!

Fabulous stay, beautiful home!

It met all our needs, plenty of space and loved that we each had our private space for sleeping and bathrooms. After a day at Oktoberfest it provided a nice retreat to relax after a busy day. Spent lots of time on the deck to enjoy our morning coffee and evening beverage while listening and watching for wildlife. The area was quiet and peaceful. So much better than staying in a hotel! Would definitely do this again.

Great place but a few bumps

We enjoyed staying at the eagle's nest. It was perfect size for our family. Our adult sons had plenty of room to play pool and enjoy the amenities as we explored Helen Ga. The property manager was available for our calls and we were able to speak with them promptly. There was a few hiccups. The home was ok clean. I learned a long time ago that my idea of clean and others idea of clean are two different things but I provided pictures for the staff to see. The biggest hurdle we had was the stairs. This home has had the floors redone. The stair treads included. The stair treads were not installed properly. The stair treads hang off the stairs a full 2 inches. My eldest son is 6'5" and has a size 15 foot. On our first day we noticed a cracked stair tread. I called it in right away to let them know. No other issues. On our last day my eldest son was walking up the stairs when the 2 inch over hang completely snapped off under his foot. This caused him to fall and break another tread at the 2 inch over hang. Thankfully he wasn't seriously injured. We called the damage in right away and I am waiting to hear from the property manager. Overall we had a great time at the property and in the town. Hopefully the stair treads will be taken care of.

It could have been better

Well to start we were advised we were able to utilize our Golf cart as this is a golf cart community. As we arrived at the gate after travelling over 500 miles with a golf cart on the back of our vehicle. We arrived only to be told we could not bring our golf cart into the community. We were ordered to leave it parked outside of the gates or in town but we were not able to drive it through the front gate onto the property. The house was beautiful and clean and adequate for all of our needs. Our children noticed it was a bit cooler at night so we requested to find out if there were any addtional beddings or just extra blankets in the home. To our surprise we were told someone would call us back and we still to thus day are awaiting that call. The bed although comfy, squeaky. Enough so it would wake yoy from deep sleep if your partner rolled over. If you are asking for someone to clean up after themselves at least put a broom and mop in the house. We were told they would have supplies for washing laundry no supplies in the house. We were told also on numerous occasions by security that this is not the place you want to come and hang out with people as the neighbors frown upon any gatherings. The amenities were nice within the home but not enough to warrant us ever wanting to stay within the confines of Innsbrook again. All together not the best stay but made the best of it with our family. House was fine but the experience not as desired.
