Luxurious hilltop retreat with saltwater pool/spa, sitting on 10 acres just 20 mins from downtown Healdsburg and 90 mins from San Francisco. You’ll get sweeping views of vineyards on the surrounding hills, redwoods, and Mount St. Helena. The home features a fully-stocked kitchen with Miele appliances, outdoor grill and dining area, and an office/den with sleeper sofa (separate from the main 2 bedrooms). The house is a perfect wine country escape, best suited for friends and couples.

Wow!

Amazing property in perfect setting. Beautifully architected property full of amenities and thoughtful consideration for guests. Property manager was responsive and provided a welcome overview. Impeccably clean and comfortable for 4 adults. We made full use of the pool/spa and the many seating areas to take in the view. Perfect spot for a few days of wine tasting and lazy morning and evenings with amazing views.

perfection

cannot overstate how magical alan's beautiful home is--the setting is otherworldly, the house is impeccably designed and provisioned. we cancelled some of our restaurant reservations so we could spend more time in the house, opting to cook some wonderful meals in the well-equipped kitchen. the sunrise over the majestic view is well-worth getting up for!

Our stay here was amazing and the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The property was secluded, and had everything we needed. Spectacular views

This house is beautiful, and it is at one of the most beautiful locations I have ever seen. It literally sits on a ridge top, and you can watch the sunrise on one side, and the sunset on the other. The pool and spa are beautiful, everything is clean and modern, and we would love to go back. The host met us at the house to explain everything, and even had a bottle of wine that he sat and shared with us! From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience!

Heaven on earth

This place is magical! So peaceful and the aesthetic is top notch. From the sheets, to the coffee, to the bottle of wine as a welcome, and cocolates on the bedside, These hosts are a class act. Then theres the space to the architectural touches- you will never want to leave. All I would suggest is A. Bring groceries, because you wont want to leave, and it is a ways from town. and B. get ready to unwind.

Exceptional views and a singular experience

We spent a week here in September and with each day, we loved it more! The home and guest house accommodated two couples superbly. Perched high on a mountain, the modern design was the perfect complement to the 360 degree views. Waking up to a glorious sunrise each morning was a perfect start each day. Soaking in the hot tub, swimming in the pool, and relaxing on the terraces were welcome respites from the wine tastings and glorious meals down in the valley. Words like amazing, fantastic, and wonderful simply don’t do justice to this property. The home is not only well-designed and meticulously maintained, but the attention to detail is outstanding. Our host, Alan, provided a warm welcome and a comprehensive tour, clearly explaining how to utilize the pool, spa, and other amenities. What sets this property apart from even a 5-star resort is its private, tranquil setting. Relaxing in the pool and spa, you can enjoy breathtaking views of vineyards, stunning sunrises and sunsets, and the abundant wildlife, including birds soaring through the surrounding valleys. Just FABULOUS!!

There is so much to this property that the pictures just can’t capture! Our greeting with the host put the entire house in perspective. He explained how the original house had burned in 2020 in one of the biggest fires of recent in California. They rebuilt but left some of the original structure as part of the landscaping and ambiance of the property. It’s difficult to see in the photos but the personal tour and being there put it all in perspective. It was gorgeous! Everything that you could want was provided. The host thought of everything! He placed fresh flowers in every room; a welcome bottle of local wine; and a welcome note. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway along with so many personal touches. Just a perfect stay!

Peaceful retreat - beautiful views

The house was as nice as the pictures (even better). It was a great house for 2 couples. The views were spectacular and seeing the fog burn off in the morning was a treat. It should be noted that to get these views it is a bit of a drive from the main road. The listing makes it appear that it is a bit closer in. Plan to add 15+ minutes each way to get into town. Not a problem if you're planning to hang out the house. It is well equipped. Everything worked well and our host Alan was great to work with. Loved the extra attention to detail.

Lovely Time

My wife and some close friends scheduled a significant birthday retreat at Alan's property and we had a lovely time. The views from the main guest house are stunning and beautiful. The finishes of the home are luxurious and lovely. We unfortunately had a rainy weekend, so couldn't enjoy the the exterior amenities, which were lovely, but I must say the celebration was well framed and enjoyed in this lovely location in a very special home away from home.

Spectacular place!

This rental is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding rural Sonoma Valley area. It affords many opportunities to sit and enjoy the magnificent vistas in multiple directions. The buildings are strikingly beautiful with outstanding design elements, comfortable and attractive furniture, lovely art, and every amenity you could possibly want (for example - kitchen appliances, tools, dishes; personal care products in the bathrooms; storage closets and drawers; good lighting; extra towels, pillows, and blankets; washer/dryer/laundry soap; adjustable thermostats, etc). The owner was exceptionally responsive, accommodating, and went way above and beyond to welcome us in person and with special touches including flowers, a bottle of local wine and delicious cupcakes to help us celebrate a significant birthday. He could not have been nicer or more gracious! We look forward to returning to this extraordinary rental property in the future.

Heaven On A Hill !!!!

Alan, we can’t express how pleased we were with our stay at your beautiful home. You provided everything we could have needed. All of the personal touches went far above and beyond anything we anticipated! The house is immaculate. The views, stars, serene setting, and quiet were just what the doctor ordered for our relaxing getaway. A true sanctuary

My wife and I spent about 7 weeks at this incredible home - the longest we've been out of Seattle in 20 years - and in a word it was rejuvenating. It's a beautiful winding drive into the hills behind the town of Healdsburg - bring your driving gloves - it can be quite twisty in spots. But pulling up to the home there's an immediate sense of peace. The home, thoughtfully designed and built by the hosts, is modern and beautiful, but blends into its natural surroundings perfectly. There are trees in every direction, except to the east where the view opens back up over the valley, the vineyards, and off in the distance, the mountains. You can't see the neighbors in any direction except for one house across the valley that's probably about 3 miles away. We cooked, swam, barbecued, rode our bikes, jogged in the hills, visited the amazing wineries and restaurants of Healdsburg, sat in the hot tub and stared at the stars and entertained friends on the patio. The home was well appointed in every way - the kitchen was a joy to cook in, beds were comfortable, and the furniture and art in the main living areas was gorgeous. The photos truly don't do it justice. But the best part was certainly our hosts - we got to know Alan, JP, and Cami over the course of our time there and aside from being attentive, responsive, and truly thoughtful we now think of them as friends we'll stay in touch with long after our stay is over. We're back in Seattle now, but dreaming of Healdsburg and our stay in this gorgeous hidden sanctuary.
