Enjoy WEEKLY and DAILY stays in a 4-seasons, private lake home on beautiful Little Round Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. Our cabin is the result of years of heartfelt work to create a warm and comfortable escape in the north woods. The house is surrounded by towering pines and boasts the best view on the lake... although the neighbors claim this as well. We face east and have the joy of breathtaking sunrises year 'round from the living room, dining room, kitchen, lakeside bedrooms and, of course, the deck & screen porch.

Step out the front door and Round Lake is at your feet. Pull your boat right up to the front of the house and watch the kids swim while sitting on our large deck. Serve meals under the pines with a lake breeze at your back.

Each year we spend a full month at our cabin making sure it's in top-notch condition for our guests... most of which have been with us almost 20 years. Our neighbors are like family and everyone feels at home.

Keywords: Private Lake Home, private beach & boat dock, sand bottom beach, spectacular lake views. Many of other renters have come back to the house for as much as 30 years.

Beautiful Lakehome

We had a great winter stay. We were welcomed to our stay by our gracious host and found the home to be very clean and comfortable. This home has everything you need for a great lake getaway.

The Perfect Home away from Home getaway

This is the perfect getaway whether you are traveling within a few hours or out of state! Tim has thought about every detail in the house a weary traveler could need....bathroom amenities, laundry amenities, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen, warm comfy beds, the list goes on and on. The cabin itself is so incredibly, charmingly perfect! The pictures online are great, and once you arrive you will fall in love with the picturesque setting. As you walk into the cabin, you overlook the beautiful lake that has a deck with chairs. Additionally, there is a screened in porch, which is perfect for the morning sunrise. Our favorite cabin feature was the fire pit. We roasted marshmallows for S'mores and sat for hours around the fire pit with family. It was perfect! Thank you Tim!

Great get family getaway

Great long family weekend getaway! Beautiful place and setting! Weather wasn’t best for us, but found some activities in Hayward for the kids and did have some time enjoying the sandy area by the dock and some kayaking. Definitely a beautiful lake! Thanks for the great stay!

Little Round Bliss

Our Family has been renting on Little Round or Big Round Lake for many years. Tim and John’s cabin is the nicest, best equipped, homiest cabin we have been in. The cabin is exactly as advertised. We had 6 adults staying in the cabin with grandkids coming to swim most days, we all had a great time.

Beyond Wonderful

They certainly don’t need anymore positive reviews as they are overflowing on here but I must say that this property is so much more than what the listing shows. Pictures just don’t do this place justice. Every single detail is impeccably attended to. Absolutely gorgeous and the owners are definitely a pleasure to work with. I just can’t say enough about our stay. This Lake home is a steal at the price. Book it! You will not regret it- guaranteed!

Memorial Day 2021

We could not have asked for a better place to stay over our long holiday weekend. The home was immaculate. The lot and gardens were beautifully groomed. The dock and lake were perfect for us to drop our boat in for the weekend. The owners have been doing this a long time and their attention to detail was amazing. They were awesome to work with and were available at anytime for anything we needed. Spectacular experience in every aspect. Thank you!

The BEST Cabin on Little Round Lake!

Fantastic

This lake front house is impeccable, the property is beautifully landscaped with abundant flowers, very well looked after, the interior is decorated with art and pottery. The two artists who own the property have thought of everything. A lot of thought went into running a rental in which nothing is overlooked. A few stairs to your own dock on a clear, clean lake, with loons looking after their territory . If we had a place on a lake I would want it to be just like this.

Beautiful Lake House

We like to leave vacation rentals better than we find them, but that was impossible with this house. The Little Round Lake House has been in Tim’s family for decades, and his love of the property is evident. It is sparkling clean and super well maintained. The decor and gardens are beautiful. I loved the little extras like Aveda shampoos and cloth napkins! It is the perfect house for relaxing on the deck (no bugs!) with a book or a drink. The house does have a screened-in porch but we never used it. The porch is located off the downstairs bedroom, and it is not convenient to carry drinks or food down the stairs. The dock isn’t large and was a little wobbly, so it was a little hard for more than one person to fish off of it. The water was crystal clear and good for swimming. The house is located in the country outside of Hayward but had a neighborhood vibe to it. Nextdoor neighbors are close, but so quiet you would never know they are there. Tim is a great host. We never had a problem, but he lives across the street and is available if a problem should arise. The internet and television worked flawlessly, which is important if it is a working vacation.

Everything you need

Very comfortable home on a clear lake. The inside is spotless with amazing attention to detail. The kitchen has enough to support a cooking show. The outside is manicured. The owners are great and looked after our every need. One of the most looked after homes we have been in.

Beautiful cabin and lake

Property and house are beautiful with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Gardens surrounding house are amazing. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Hosts were very accommodating. Lake is quiet for paddling but connected to the larger lake where we water skied and tubed. Quiet, shaded roads for biking. Loved our stay. Didn't want to go home!
