Luxury 2 Master suite with Hot Tub & Sauna

Welcome to Eagle Rock Retreat, a luxurious and spacious private chalet in the heart of Masthope Mountain Community. This 3 story, 3,800 square foot new construction home, boasts 5 large bedrooms and sleeps 12 guests comfortably. The open floor plan allows for an airy, relaxing retreat with high ceilings, Brazilian hardwood floors and large windows with plenty of natural light. The large private deck off the second floor reveals beautiful panoramic views of nature. There is gas grill with propane line that makes it easy to cook up your favorite barbecue. Further, the 6 person Jacuzzi, which is accessible from the first floor, is strategically placed under the deck below for further privacy and accessibility in any kind of weather.

The first floor, with private entrance, manifests a large living room with gas fireplace and 50” TV, a large bedroom suite with 2 twin over full bunk beds and 1 twin bed which easily sleeps 7 kids as well as a spacious bathroom with double sinks, tub and sauna for relaxing. The Cub Club is a spacious kids floor with Skee ball, arcade games and air hockey for tons of fun.

The second floor, with main entrance, exhibits a large living room with gas fireplace and a 65” TV, a chef’s kitchen with granite countertops and an 8 foot island perfect for gathering, and a dining room with an extra large table that seats up to 12 people with benches. The 1st of the two master bedrooms has a luxury Marriet bed king size mattress, TV and a private master bathroom with shower. The second floor further has a serene one bedroom with a comfy queen bed.

The third floor, presents a spacious loft area with a writing desk, chess/checkers/backgammon table and a cozy leather chair for reading. The 2nd master bedroom also has a luxury Marriott bed king size mattress, TV and a private master bathroom with shower. The third floor has an additional bedroom that has 2 full beds and a TV. This floor also has a bathroom with tub.

Masthope is a four seasons single home private community situated in the most northern tier of the Pocono Mountains. With a full variety of amenities to enjoy such as skiing, boating and swimming at the lake and pool, horseback riding, tennis courts and a multitude of sports activities that are only enhanced by a never ending list of seasonal events, there is something to enjoy for everyone. Eagle Rock Retreat is centrally situated within a 5 minute drive to the lake, pool and ski lodge. The beautiful home met all our needs! Our children did snowboard and go tubing with our grandchildren. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped. The dining area was the scene of many contentious card games The number of full bathrooms allowed everyone time for personal needs without waiting and taking turns.

excellent in all ways. The host was very responsive to our questions and was up front about the HOA rules-they were reasonable rules. Check in with the HOA could be done the day after we arrived and the HOA staff were very polite and informative about all the available amenities. The lifeguards at the pool and lake were very focused and attentive. All the staff from the restaurant workers to the trash compactor guy were very helpful and polite. The house itself was amazing. We had 4 boys under the age of 12 with us and the downstairs bedroom was perfect for them. The Skee-Ball and arcades kept them entertained when they had to wait for a meal or go out with the adults. The deer came daily, we had a turkey under the deck at one time and a bear crossed the yard. We would all highly recommend staying here.

Family friendly, amazing scenery!

The owners were so very friendly and helpful in planning our trip. They accommodated last minutes adjustments in extended our stay and provided recommendations on the local restaurants and ski/snow boarding lifts. The house is absolutely beautiful with a wide open concept which the kids just loved, being able to spread out. The property and view of the scenery and wildlife was breath taking! The back yard had just enough of a hill for the kids to sled down. We can’t wait to book our next trip! Thanks again for a memorable family vacation!

Winter vacay

We had a great time. To house was awesome with all the amenities you need. The sauna and hot tub were great and the kids (and adults) loved the video games. As always the community was great and skiing was fun. Interacting with Jennifer was easy and she was very responsive.

Wonderful home for hosting our family gathering

It was super easy to communicate with the property owner in advance of our trip and during the stay, which made things go very smoothly. The home was ideal for our family to come together and celebrate a number of birthdays at once. There was plenty of space, we had a ton of options for places inside and outside of the house to gather and dine, the kitchen had all of the tools and appliances for our baking and cooking, everyone was comfortable and cozy with the numerous bedrooms and bathrooms, and the kids were always entertained with all of the fun to be had in the game room. Everyone loved it from ages 3-71!

Great Stay!

Best family trip

I must start out by saying what a wonderful host Jennifer was. She responded to our inquiries immediately and took care of anything we asked. The house was absolutely perfect for our family. Plenty of open space for the kids. This was the most well stocked house we have rented through VRBO. The kitchen had every appliance you could think of and the games for the kids were plentiful. From the board games to video games, they were always entertained. The community had many ways to entertain the kids. The house was immaculate. You can tell Jennifer takes great pride in her home.

A Really Fun Weekend in A Perfect Getaway Home

Our family spent a recent Friday through Monday at this wonderful home in a beautiful setting to celebrate my wife’s and my 50th wedding anniversary. There were 11 of us, with ages ranging from 11 months to 96 and there was plenty of room for everyone, whether we went our separate ways or gathered together for meals, spend time at the beautiful community pool or just lounged around. The amenities were bountiful and everything we needed in the kitchen was provided (except food, of course). We found the home in immaculate condition and during our stay our host Jennifer rapidly responded to any questions we had. The beautiful and large deck provided us with ample opportunity to relax, watch the wildlife, eat and take family photos. We would absolutely return.

Perfect for spending time with family.

This is definitely one of if not thw best place I've rented on VRBO. Check in was made very easy. The manager was very accommodating, and very easy-going. The property was deceptively moderate looking from outside ( I'm only saying that because I personally wouldn't have expected the inside to look how it did from lookingat the outside, and please dont get me wrong, it is well maintained outside ) it was amazing inside and i definitely plan on taking my family back to stay there again. Everyone had a blast!!!

President's Day Ski Weekend

Another excellent stay at Eagle Rock Retreat! As always, Jennifer went above and beyond to make us feel at home! The house is very clean and comfortable with beautiful mountain lodge style furnishings and decor. Plenty of space for eating, sleeping, and entertaining our group of family, friends, and young teens. The location is awesome for all of the winter activities that the community has to offer for all ages. If winter activities are not your thing, there's plenty of fun to be had right at the house....video machines, hot tub, sauna, board games, and multiple televisions. Thank you Jennifer for another wonderful stay! We are already looking forward to returning to Eagle Rock Retreat this summer!
