Weißenbach is close to Haus im Ennstal where you can board the modern ski lifts of Schladming's 4-Berge Ski Resort. The ski bus stops right outside the door.
For cross-country skiers, the cross-country paradise in Ramsau is close by, not to mention the Dachstein glacier where skiing is possible all year round.
