Everything was good except we tried a few times to stay a few more days and the people we texted and called messed up quite a few times.

The property was dismal. The room was ok. The site represented an ocean view. There was no such view. The room has not been cleaned very well we needed to sweep and clean up sand and bugs. The bedding was fine. It was a good enough place to stay for one night

The room was crawling with roaches not just one or two but they were everywhere. I killed over a dozen of them in the first few hours of being here. If it wasn't for the infestation of roaches i would have been happy with the room.

The people in unit next to us had a dog who barked continually when left alone. Since this property has no attending staff this went on without intervention.

Access to the beach. Close to Hatteras ferry. The swimming pool is in need of maintenance and upkeep. It would nice if they replaced the boardwalk over the dune to the beach.

I liked the coded access. Makes it simple. Don't know what to do if you have any issues though. Everything was clean. The beds were a little too soft for me, of course everybody has different firmness for them. Overall We were very satisfied.

There was a loud noise from a/c unit When i made the reservacion, you guys show this unit with stove. There was no stove. Bad experience.

The place doesn’t look that great from the outside but inside it has a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Everything you need for a quick stay. And good price.

Beach was right over the dune from the property. Safe, easy to access and quiet. Not very fancy, very little ‘staff’ around, but we weren’t looking for anyone to take care of anything for us, so that was ok. Bed was comfy and we had plenty of room. More chairs/seating inside would be nice and an additional lamp or two. Having the little kitchenette was delightful. Not pristine or new, but comfy enough for a brief beach stay.

No frills but a few steps to the sand
Right next to the beach which was fantastic and a huge plus. The motel is bit run down. No office so check in was by key code which was fine but was not clear in the communication leading up to the stay. Beds are noisy and bouncy/weak. Pillows and comforter were great and fluffy. No doap in hand soap dispenser but we brought our own luckily. Keurig machine was high end. Overall we'd stay again but definitely set your expectations accordingly.

Mediocre at best
Stayed for a night while waiting to check in to our Cabin nearby. It’s basic and in the beach but beds aren’t great. Saw a couple if roaches too. Seemed safe for leaving car full of travel stuff. Had to call and wait to get my room number and passcode to get in. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

The location, the room setup, beach access, pool, kitchen, etc. was very nice. HOWEVER, the presence of ROACHES was disgusting. This morning when the lights were turned on they were everywhere in the room. The bathroom and kitchen were especially infested. Had we noticed upon arrival we would not have stayed the night. I can accept the damp and filthy carpet but roaches is toooo much. Would never rebook nor recommend a place that has roaches. This motel had the potential to become my families new favorite spot but at $254 for a one night stay I think it’s fair to expect a clean and bug free room.

AC unit in the window was super loud, hotel has you throw your own trash in the dumpster. The beach access was awesome and the pool was nice. Overall its a decent place to stay but has a few areas where it could improve

Property was right by the water, pool was very nice to relax. Ceiling is a bit thin if you stay on the first floor, but other than that great stay! Staff over the phone was great and helpful when the original code was not working.

The only thing good was the location. There was no soap in the shower, the kitchenette had no amenities, there was not a single chair in the 2 bedroom suite. There were no curtains, there were blinds but not room darkening so it was very bright early in the morning, plus the porch light lined up with the window so it was bright all night long! We made coffee the first morning and there were big legs in a cup. There was n trash can in the room. There were people shouting and swearing on the balcony and with no office there was no one to go to. Way over priced, very disappointed. I will not use Expedia or Keas ever again!

This motel is very basic and dated but over all clean. They do allow dogs and the room above had a barking dog which was a little annoying. But the access to the beach was awesome. Also the other guest were respectful. I would stay again.

They lack on sending the check in information, since they don’t have a concierge office. I waited until 4:30 and nothing, I had to call them to get the room number and code to access it, I ended up checking at 5pm. Also, they should install cameras in the premises as a safety feature for the customers.
