This lovingly updated home is located just outside the Harrisonburg city limits and offers a peaceful country setting with the convenience of restaurants and shopping nearby. The home features an eat-in kitchen, with center island, a spacious family room with large screen TV and reclining movie seating, living room, and a beautiful private patio area with a wood burning fire pit, grill, table and chairs for outdoor dining and relaxing. There's an additional one-bedroom apartment property adjacent to The Farmhouse that can be rented separately called “The Flat at Fort Lynne”.

All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available.

Parking is available for 4 cars.

The Harrisonburg area offers unique dining and shopping experiences, as well as local breweries and wineries. Antique shops abound in the area. Massanutten Resort is located thirty minutes away. Eastern Mennonite University is less than five minutes away, James Madison University is fifteen minutes away, and Bridgewater College is twenty minutes away. ​​​​​​​

*This home is located in the countryside. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids. Please be aware they may come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside.

Clean any spills up immediately
No parties or events
No illegal substances
Furniture should not be re-arranged
Please don't put food down the garbage disposal
No eating or drinking in the bedrooms
No smoking inside the house. Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removed
This home has a pellet grill - Charcoal is not allowed. If you use charcoal in the grill you will be billed for damages (including but not limited to a new grill.)
If any items are unplugged from an outlet or device (like a tv), please be sure to plug it back in before checkout
Quiet hours are from 10 p.m to 8 a.m. during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors
Turn off all lights when leaving the property
Please read the check out instruction on the refrigerator and in the Welcome Book. Note that check out is at 10 a.m.
Interior locked closets are off limits to guests
Only registered guests are to be in the house
Leave the doors and windows closed if the heat or AC is in use
Trash must be placed in the trash bins outside the home at check out. A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed.

This property is adjacent to the Flat at Fort Lynne. Parking is shared, as is the grill area.

Pet Rules:
-We are not able to host puppies under nine months old and/or any dog that is not housebroken.
-Pet waste needs to be cleaned up promptly and disposed of properly.
-Must be crated when in the house alone
-Stay off all furniture.
-Must have advance notice of pet on property.
-Can not be left alone outside.
