Hanahan is a suburb of the Charleston Metro area and is considered a quiet residential area. The home is located only a few blocks from small downtown Hanahan and only a couple of miles from vibrant Park Circle.

There are Uber/Lyfts readily available should you choose to leave your vehicle parked.

Public transportation is not a very convenient means of travel in the area.

NEIGHBORHOOD

***Please note that the home is located in a quiet, working class neighborhood that is in the midst of gentrification. While we feel the home is in a great location (within a 10-15 minute drive of many local attractions) and the locals in Charleston are as friendly as they come, the OPTICS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD MAY NOT BE FOR EVERYONE. If areas of gentrification make you feel unsafe or uncomfortable we urge you to book elsewhere. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS DUE TO THE LOCATION. Please book accordingly.

SUPPLIES

All reservations are equipped with at least one towel/washcloth per guest, one hand towel per bathroom, three rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher pods, and 3 laundry pods. If any supplies run out mid-stay, guests are responsible to provide any additional supplies needed for the remainder of their trip.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Your safety and comfort are our priority. In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your reservation.

Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, PLEASE CONSIDER TRAVEL INSURANCE, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season. Airbnb`s insurance or other options are recommended and we urge you to look into them prior to confirming your reservation.

INSECTS

As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who reside in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND.

HOUSE RULES

- Smoking Policy - This is a strictly non-smoking unit. If it is discovered that someone has been smoking inside the unit, an automatic $500 fee will apply for specialized deep cleaning, soot removal, and industrial Ozone odor remediation.

- Decorating - No glitter/confetti or decorating that will damage walls, enforced with a $500 fine

- Pets - Pet friendly with a $100 pet fee per pet (up to 2 pets allowed); all pets must be added to your reservation at the time of booking. Guests must pick up after pet.

- Events/Parties - No unauthorized guests or parties; guests must respect the quiet hours between 10pm-8am. If it is found that guests are hosting any events or parties, they will be asked to leave the property with no refunds given.
