Le personnel est très sympa et à l'écoute. Les installations sont correctes, la nourriture au buffet est peu variée et on attendait plus de plats typiques. Les desserts ne sont pas traditionnels. Aux restaurants le menu est très décevant. Le pire c'est la Medina, le Bazar, on pouvait pas se promener sans avoir 10 commerçants qui mos obligeant d'entrer dans sa boutique et on nous a poussé a acheter à prix très élevés, de l'arnaque pure et dure. On retournera pas, c'est sûr. Dommage

Séjour en famille : les chambres sont très belles et bien entretenues, très propres, le personnel est poli et serviable, les repas sont bons. Le seul bémol c est l’animation elle est pas au top pour des vacances scolaires avec des enfants Un très grand merci à toute l’équipe de l’hôtel et surtout au service réservation.

Soon as I arrived , I was told in a rude tone that there is no parking available and I have to leave my car outside . Dinner was good the first night but was catastrophic the second night . Also receptionist was rude and was trying to charge me 50 dt extra . The pools closes at 6 pm , and you have to pay extra 50 dt to use the main pool . We asked for towels 7 times and finally we got them 24 hours later . At the restaurant you have to pay for water at the dinner time they do not have any type of water. We will not come back

Dear Mr Saadana, First of all, we would like to thank you for choosen our Hotel for your last visit in Tunisia. And we apologize for the misunderstanding happened during your stay. Maybe the parking was full upon your arrival but we can tell you that in a good tone. Actually the access to the Pool House Lounge is not for free, and cost 50 Dinars per person will be reduced from the your bill (Food, drinks etc..) and not for free :) Swimming pools closed at 6 pm while the life guard men finish his shift at 6pm. You booked Half Board pension means breakfeast and Dinner only without drinks and only All in soft has drinks included. We thank you in advance for your understanding

Presque parfait.
Bonjour tout le monde, avec ma famille, nous avons passé un semaine vraiment agréable à Diar Lemdina. Que se soit, les restaurants, la bouffe, le service, l'animation extraordinaire de Chika et son groupe. C'était presque parfait, sauf que pour ma part, j'ai souffert de la literie. Les matelas sont si durs que tous mes problèmes de dos me sont revenus. Et 10 jours après mon retour, je souffre encore. Dommage.

It was a good hotel. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The food was good. The location is good. Sound proofing the rooms would help since they have music entertain emend everything night and it lasts until 3.00 am. They need to help their reception staff with proper updating software programs. The lack of such programs caused us hours of anguish at the checkin time and caused their staff at the reception to deny our reservation made about four months earlier. Thanks to he people at the reception we were able to get our reservation problem resolved.

Le personnel est comme à chaque fois tres accueillant, disponible et agréable. Le temps passe vite et en meme temps cet hôtel est familial, convivial, et tres reposant. On y mange tres tres bien, les plats sont proposé en buffets, tres copieux et pleins de saveurs. l'animation et toute l'équipe d'animateurs est sympathique et super agréable. C'est un endroit que je recommande pour des vacances en famille, en couple, en solo ou entres amis.

Hour-and-a-half late check-in. Dirty, old, dingy room. Music pounding till 5 AM from nightclub. Awful restaurant service. After spending two days with our heads pounding, we wanted to be refunded our final three days and leave. As the director spoke to my husband, I was in our hotel room, contacting Hotels.com to see if they could work out a refund. While there, two of the staff used a key card to get in our room. No knocking, just opened the door to come in. When they saw me there, they apologized and left. I have no idea what they were entering our room for, but that scenario scared my mother-in-law and grandma so much that they didn’t want to stay alone that night, so we ended up staying overnight in their room for security. In the end, the director offered compensation of a massage and hammam, but at this point, we were over it. We couldn’t even look at their faces. Service was just dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths. One positive note: the bellhop was the only smile we received from service staff. He should get a raise. Hotels.com tried to resolve the issue with the hotel, but we weren’t given a refund. Hotels.com was professional and helpful, offering us coupons to put toward another hotel stay, which we did. Thanks to that, our trip wasn’t entirely ruined. The pictures on this site show a hotel that doesn’t exist. This is not a beachside hotel, so I’m not sure why there are photos of beaches here.

As we responded to your previous one, we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay in our hotel although our staff made all the effort to offer you a nice experience, like changing your rooms or inviting you to hammam and massages. We apologize for the late check-in but we count on your comprehension that the hotel was fully booked due to the Carnival in Yasmine Hammamet. We also apologize for our staff entering the room but this happened only because of the room exchange which wasn't yet actualized on our system. Also there was no sign of not disturbing on the door. Although we are not a beach front hotel we do have a private beach which is why you could see photos of it. We would have been glad if you tried to discover our dine around concept and the activities but we do hope that in the future you will give us a second chance. Best regards,

Awful - staff couldn't care less about your stay
I hate writing bad reviews, but hotel management at Diar LeMedina preferred a bad review to refunding our last three nights, so here goes… We waited an hour-and-a-half past check-in for our room with no explanation. No one came to inform us of anything; we had to keep approaching reception to ask. Dinner was awful. The dining hall was cramped, crowded, dirty. You have to wait in long lines to get anything. You can barely move through the room. It was more of the same. The first night, we were treated to all night partying from the nightclub right outside our room. We thought it would end at 2 AM. 3 AM rolled around, 4 AM no sleep. 5 AM we got dressed to go to reception, because the phone wasn’t working in our room (probably because they get so many complaints from the all-night pounding, which was literally shaking the desk and walls), but once we got outside, the club finally closed. The final straw happened the next night at the restaurant. We brought in bottled water, because one of our party has a medical condition requiring low calcium water. The restaurant staff refused to allow it. I know that sounds ridiculous, and it is. My husband remained calm explaining the situation, but they went so far as to remove our glasses from our table, so we couldn’t use them. Hotels.com tried to resolve the issue, but the hotel refused to refund us. Hotels.com was professional and helpful, offering coupons to put toward another hotel stay.

And since we mentioned how important this aspect is for us, we really insist on the fact that a review should only reflect the objective experience. We apologize for some of the inconveniences that you experienced at Diar Lemdina. The hotel was on full occupancy due to the Carnival which is no excuse just a fact for saying that we count on your comprehension for receiving your rooms later than the expected although all of our staff made the necessary efforts to ensure the usual service. Our rooms might seemed you old but in fact it is about a style that suits our particular concept of hotel inside the medina, a recall to this ancient and original style of life. We understand that this concept can not please everyone and we are very sorry to learn that you did not enjoyed it. All our team made was dedicated to offer you a nice experience in our hotel, which is why we've changed your room although it is very difficult to find an available suite when the hotel is full. We are certain that if you would have opened your travel sens of adventure, we would have enjoyed a lovely stay regardless small aspects that we tried to solve as quickly as possible. Bekvämt och tryggt
Hotellet var bra och personalen var väldigt service minded. I anslutning till hotellet var en liten egen stad uppbyggd inom anläggningen. Här fanns butiksgator, aktiviteter, torg och serveringar. Det kan kännas tryggt att ha allt bekvämt nära och det fanns flera säkerhetsvakter på anläggningen. Tyvärr var butikerna i anslutning till hotellet dyra att handla i och många försäljare var väldigt tjatiga och påträngande.
