This is a lovely place. Great location, big room, clean, full kitchen! But it has NO STAFF. Everything is ONLINE. This is fine as long as you don't have any out-of-the-ordinary questions/situations. I have 2 suggestions for the owners/managers: 1) POST THE NOISE COMPLAINT NUMBER EVERYWHERE. I know that somewhere several levels deep in an email, they said noise complaints can be made by text ONLY to a certain number. But when there was noise at 4am, I did not have the mental clarity to click through the many messages to find the number. If Cameo were really serious about being able to get in touch, they would post this phone number on the wall in every room. 2) I wanted to extend my stay by one day. I could only email about this, so I did as soon as I realized I had made a mistake and only booked 2 nights, instead of 3. Unfortunately I realized on Friday at 4:19pm. They finally answered my question Saturday 1:15 p.m. In the meantime, I didn't know whether I was going to hear back - did I need to book another hotel, how soon would they answer, I just didn't know. I looked up the information on their website and it indicated that they answered their email weekdays 9-5. Not helpful when I am already checked in. They eventually did get back to me on Sat and it was sorted out, but it wasn't a smooth experience. My suggestion is to respond to your email more quickly, with more information. You are a hotel: there will be guests on the weekend. Staff accordingly.
