If you are looking for a resort with top of the line room service and amenities, this is probably not the place for you. I went to Maui to see Maui, not stay in a hotel room the whole time. «This starves absolutely awful. There was water dripping from the roof and coming in through the bottom of our door. The property was not prepared for the storm. The hotel was able to love us rooms. This room was terrible the carpet was wet the door wouldn’t even close it was so warped from water. The humidity increased and the rain stopped the room started to smell horribly. «The staff were all super!! They were friendly and helpful during the super crazy Kona storm which made several areas of the hotel wet and prevented some staff from even making it to work, but we were able to spend time enjoying the view from inside and being outside when it wasn't raining. You can hang out in the lobby after check-out and the shuttle drivers are friendly, too. »

«Our stay was very nice! This is definitely a motel and not a hotel, but we were very comfortable. The pool was full of plant debris and the hot tub was cold, so we did not use those unfortunately. It was very nice to have beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas provided! The shower towels provided were the cheapest, thinnest, smallest towels I have ever been provided; consider bringing your own!
