Romslig 3-roms oppdatert strandhus med flott utsikt over Gulf

  • Oppdaterte funksjoner inkludert nye fliser på gulv, 3-roms 2 bad hus med en kort spasertur til en urørt strand. Det er bare 6 hus på denne lille veien, og bare 2 er utleie. De resterende husene er ikke til leie og brukes sjelden, så for det meste har du et stort segment av stranden for deg selv. Dette huset ble totalrenovert i 2016, og vi har nylig gjort om badekar og dusj på badene. House har alle apparater inkludert rustfritt fransk dør kjøleskap, og en frittstående ismaskin (ikke nødvendig å kjøpe is). Det er et eget vaskerom med vaskemaskin og tørketrommel i full størrelse. Det store familierommet har rikelig med sitteplasser med en 55 tommers smart T. V.- og DVD-spiller samt høyhastighetsinternett. Spisebord med plass til 8 pluss barplasser på 4. Skjermet veranda har et bord for 4. Det er også en kortstokk med utsikt over stranden.
    Hovedsoverommet er stort med king size-seng og premium madrass. Det er god skapplass og skuffeplass for langtidsopphold. Mesteren badet har en dobbel forfengelighet med dusj. Soverom 2 har en queen size-seng med premium madrass og køyeseng. Det er også god skapplass og skuff plass. Soverom 3 har en queen size-seng med premium madrass og en køyeseng samt rikelig med skap og skuff plass. Alle soverommene har smarte TV-er. Andre bad har badekar / dusj.
    For gjestene våre er det grill, strandstoler, mange strandleker og en vogn å bære til stranden.

    Vi ligger i nærheten av fergen og gangavstand til marinaen og Tacky Jacks Restaurant. Det er to restauranter / markeder innenfor en radius på fem miles.

This beach house was exactly what we wanted for our vacation! We loved the remote location away from other rental properties as well as more space to ourselves on the beach! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and lots of games and books to explore. Everybody's favorite was the screened in porch and big, comfy swing! We also made use of the extra beach towels, toys, and chairs provided in the storage room. We hope to return again and again! Thank you!

Fort Morgan is the finish line for the Great Alabama 650 paddle race and I was a racer and mu husband and 2 other friends were my support / ground crew. After a week of racing we needed a quiet, clean, comfy place to recover and this place was absolutely perfect!! everything we needed was right here. Thanks so much, we absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Great Location to stay

We loved the house and location of stay. Only a short walk to beach and not crowded. We loved that they also had some beach supplies like a wagon that we didn't have to pack and bring. Very spacious and screened in porch was nice to sit in the mornings and evenings without bugs.

Peaceful

You’d think that it would feel crowded on a holiday weekend - but the Rustic Retreat delivered quiet relaxation! We especially loved the awesome bed swing on the lower porch.

Nice location

The Rustic Retreat was very comfortable and the screened in porch provided a nice bug-free view of the beach. We were there to fish and it was located near Ft. Morgan Marina. There wasn’t many houses near it which made it one of the most private rentals I’ve stayed in at Ft Morgan. The host was awesome! Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing property

Beautiful home in a great location. We appreciated all of the beach gear (they have everything). We spent a lot of time relaxing in the screened in patio listening to the sounds of the ocean.

We had a great time. There was a bit of a walk to the beach but not too far. The beach was nice and uncrowded. The house was comfy with plenty of room in the house for the three of us. The only issue we had was there were a lot of sand burs. Overall it was a nice week.

Annual vacation

The pictures were on point and the stand along ice machine was good since we all carried water bottles everyday. Being able to enjoy the sound of the wave every morning on the porch was great. The short walk to the beach with the supplied cart and chairs was a plus. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Loved our stay

Location was ideal for us - away from the crowds but plenty of nearby activities. Short walk to the beach. Peaceful. Loved the porch to relax with a cup of coffee have or a glass of wine. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Comfy beds. Communication with hosts was easy with quick responses.

The house offers an ideal setup for children and grandchildren, featuring bedrooms with bunk beds and queen size beds, while the grandparents can enjoy a spacious king size bedroom. Our stay was perfect! Girls trip with our daughters and this property was exactly what we needed. It reuly felt like a home away from home. So peaceful and comfortable and quiet. I have never stayed somewhere so well stocked. From kitchen necessities to beach gear, games and entertainment this place had it all. The beacĥ was beautiful and uncrowded. We got to see crabs, dolphins, and a variety of birds. The kids really loved it. This host was easy to contact and truly thought of everything. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect for a girls trip or family vacation!

2019 Thanksgiving Visit

We love the Fort Morgan area and were very pleased with this property. It was clean and very comfortable. Lots of pots and pans, plenty of silverware and drinking glasses. There is an on-site ice machine in the laundry room, and plenty of towels and extra blankets and pillows. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings and then in the evenings when winding down from the day. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!

Great view.

This was a very nice property with a beautiful view! We loved the screened porch. The furniture was all comfortable and clean in the living area and on the porch. The bed in the main bedroom was also very comfortable. The kitchen was large and stocked well with an added bonus of a stand alone ice maker. There is a great swing under the house to enjoy the cool breeze. A very nice uncrowded beach is just a walk down the road and over a sand dune. It was nice to go down to the beach early in the morning and then again late evening. Guests have access to beach items stored at the property. The wagon to haul your stuff down to the beach was another added bonus. Good communication with the owners. All questions were answered promptly. Don't hesitate to book this property.

Family Week at Rustic Retreat

Our family had a wonderful week at the Rustic retreat. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood with only houses surrounding it. We came to enjoy the beach and each other and it was perfect for us in every way. It is a short walk down to the beach, which you can see from the porch and living room of the rental. We really appreciated all of the extras that were included in the house, such as games, puzzles, and a whole room, full of beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, tents, and other items that you would use on the beach. We intentionally came to unplug so we did not use the TVs that are available for use but rather chose to spend our time outdoors and just playing games with each other. The house is very close to a marina if you desire to go out fishing. There are a couple restaurants nearby, but we never did use them as we did our cooking of meals in the kitchen at the house. The kitchen had everything that we needed, and we appreciated the extras such as the icemaker and extra beverage refrigerator. Also the laundry room is very convenient to use for the week. We love the screened in porch and also the fact that there was plenty of room for all of us to sit down for meals at the big table and the bar with four large chairs.The owner, Linda, is amazing at responding very quickly to any questions or concerns. The check-in process was very easy. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again!

Could be better

The house wasn’t perfectly clean when we got there- a spill on the counter, fingerprints on the glass tables, and sand on the bunk beds and kitchen table. The house is older, so it isn’t as new as the pictures would lead you to think, but it is nicely decorated. We could tell the owners of the property don’t stay there, due to simple inconveniences that should be addressed. The TV was very finicky and it took us 30 minutes just to get it on. Apparently the last renters had unplugged some things, probably trying to get it to work. There was only one dish towel and one dish rag in the whole kitchen. The hose on the porch, for rinsing sand, was busted. Some kitchen cooking items were dirty, the dishwasher smelled awful (we handwashed all items), and we also had some ants. Some pros were the screened in porch, a Keurig that wasn’t listed in the description, a variety of beach items to use, and clean bathrooms.
