We had a great experience and stay at this condo. My son had a golf tournament at Kiva Dunes and this was the perfect place to stay. It was a very clean and very convenient to golf course and Gulf Shores.

Renter Beware - this property has zero access to key amenities.

The host of this rental does not respond to texts, calls or messages through the VRBO app. After a very frustrating multi day series of events to connect with him, we finally did get check-in instructions. However, we learned upon attempting to access the amenities on the kiva dunes property, which are fully advertised in the listing, that our host has lost his privileges to access to the key amenities on this property. He has lost access to the main pool and primary restaurant / beach club which is the main place to gather on the premise. We traveled here with 12 other families and upon arrival were denied access to the primary amenities where all of our gatherings were being held. The host acknowledged that his listing in no way discloses that he has lost access to these amenities and that a guest would have no way of knowing that until arrival. This was a disaster, and VRBO nor the host offered any assistance on the matter. Their solution was simply to make us deal with it. You are far better off renting thru the Kiva Dunes website as the vast majority of the properties are not on VRBO, but at least the other VRBO properties have access to the amenities.

there was a package waiting for me when i arrived on the counter. I opened it, thinking it was from the Golf Outing I was attending. It was a nice watch for a man. I then inspected the address label, and it was not for me. I left it intact with a note. I took a picture and sent it to the landlord. Never received a reply.

Wedding Weekend

We were there for our son's wedding. We went a few days early to enjoy some extra beach time. The condo was very spacious and the location was perfect for what we needed. Would highly recommend.

Great Condo in Paradise

This is a perfect condo at one of the best golf resorts we've stayed at. It's a perfect mix of 'beach and golf' which satisfied both my wife and I. Dee Dee's condo could not be located any better to the resort amenities - a simple walk to the beach club and golf pro shop. Dee Dee was responsive, super friendly, and helped make our stay a delight. Thank you!

Family Trip

We had an outstanding visit at Kiva Dunes and Dee Dee's property. As a family with small children in tow we couldn't have asked for an easier, stress free week at the beach! A truly hidden gem along the Gulf Coast.

Amazing condo

We had a fantastic time at this condo. My only complaint with the condo is there really needs to be blackout shades in the bedrooms. The bedrooms face the outside hallway that have a light that’s always on streaming through the windows. Sleep was very challenging because of this, we kept waking up in the middle of the night thinking it was daytime because of the light. Otherwise the condo was so beautiful had a fantastic view of the golf course and stocked with everything you could need. Parking was a bit challenging as the lot was always full if we hadn’t had a handicap sticker for my daughter we would’ve had to park in overflow. The beach shuttle was a super nice addition but it didn’t start running until 10 and my kids like to be up early so it was quite a haul to the beach with the kids and accessories and my daughter being handicapped made the trek pretty challenging.

My fiancé and I had the best time in Gulf shores. The property was great and Dee Dee is the best!!!

The property was fantastic. Very clean and organized when we checked in. The pool area was fantastic all week and we loved the view of the golf course and all the wonderful critters in the pond. The only thing we found wrong with the property was a broken towel rack in the master bathroom and there was a real bad smell in the guest bathroom. It was almost a sewage smell or just straight up strong urine smell. May want to get that toilet looked at and see if it's sealed correctly. Other than that, everything was fantastic!!!....Would love to stay there again next year. We love the Gulf Shores area and want to come back soon. A couple of suggestions would be to possibly have board games, cards, etc. For rainy days. Also maybe soft soap dispensers in the bathrooms and kitchen sinks. Also having some kleenex boxes throughout. And lastly some hard and soft pillow options. Most of your pillows were very soft. Overall we loved it though and will recommend to all our family and friends!!! Thank you so much for answering all the questions I had and for helping to make our stay so wondeful!!

Kiva Way Stay

The condo was awesome, clean and in a great location for us. The only issue was with the resort management. During our stay, they scheduled a power washing of the outside of our building. While that's OK, the workers left their ladder leaned up against our balcony railing for days. They also covered up the balcony furniture once they started for the remainder of our stay without returning to finish. It would have been nice to use the balcony in the evenings.

Fabulous!!!

We loved the view! Close proximity to golf, beach tram was great, poolside service with great food at club pool (even had gluten free buns) and the beach was so private. Condo was decorated beautiful and had comfy beds. We took 2 teen girls and they had plenty of room to get ready. Short drive to The Hangout and Lulu's in Orange Beach. We will come back. Love this place!

Wonderful!!!

We had a wonderful time in the Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan area. The condo was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The view was fabulous on the Kiva Dunes golf course and the amenities included a clubhouse, restaurant, pool, and access to the beach. The only thing we would have done differently would be to rent for a longer period of time which we have done for next year!!! Thanks so much Dee Dee!!

Awesome!

A quiet, beautiful and peaceful resort! We wanted a quick getaway with friends and this was the best place to do it! The men played golf and the women went lay out my the pool! The room was clean and beautiful! Checking in was simple and we even received a sweet surprise that helped out so much! We will most definitely be back!

Quick Golf/Beach Getaway

Our first time at Kiva Dunes Golf and Beach club. Was the perfect getaway we were looking for....great golf and enjoyed the Kiva Beach Club! The condo was appointed nicely and the owner was responsive with any issues. Will certainly rebook for future trips!

Relaxing, PERFECT getaway!

We loved this unit SO much! We had never been to Kiva Dunes, but I can assure you it won't be the last time we stay there. We loved the property overall- the beach club pool was amazing! It was perfect for a baby... easy access to a bathroom, fountains to splash in, food & drink service, etc. All of the employees working at the pool were so friendly and helpful. The unit was great as well! We loved all of the natural light from the windows. The balcony is the perfect place to start your morning or even end the night with the peace and quiet of Kiva Dunes. We also loved watching the alligator that seems to live in the pond below. It made for some fun entertainment! All of the updates in the condo are absolutely gorgeous! The closet in the master bedroom was perfect for our baby's pack n play. She basically had her own little bedroom inside of ours. The only suggestion we have is a bigger trash can in the kitchen if possible! Everything was amazing about this trip though! Thanks so much, Dee Dee!
